The moment her scent got in contact with my nostrils, I lost it. I was in heat. And the fact that I missed her did not make my wolf controllable. I instantly turned.
I could not leave through the front door as I could hurt some people. I could not even stay in the room because I would destroy things again, which I did not want to do, so I took the best possible option and that was to jump through the window.
Then I could go through the darkness and into the bush, and maybe soak myself up in the lake again. I was burning and there was no way to calm me down.
