It has been two days since I last saw Aurora. She has been bedridden for days and the only thing I have been able to get was her report from the doctor on her progress.
I wished I could see her, but I could not do that as Ryder, neither could I do that as someone else. She was angry with us both, and I could not do anything, at least not now that she was recovering.
I did not want to make her problems worse, so I chose to stay away, even though I was dying to set my eyes on her. I could have crept up to the balcony and just done what I’d been doing for years, but I knew if I did, my wolf would become active again, making her feel hot.
