Alpha Ryder’s POV
I went into the water, dipping my entire body in. I was trying to calm my body down. I was feeling both anger and lust. I needed to be calm, or I could trigger her. I stayed underwater for minutes before I popped my head out, my body still in the water.
I was glad the lake was cold. The cold was slipping into my system. I was feeling very cold, but it was better than going to pounce on someone who was not strong enough. I shut my eyes one more time and dipped my head in the water again.
I could have stayed longer, but my phone began to ring again. It has been ringing for hours now. If it was not ringing, it was beeping as messages came in. I had only one person who would dare bother me with no care in the world.
