Aurora’s POV
I felt light-headed the moment Alpha Ryder touched me. My eyes were closed out of reflex and when I opened them again, we were not in the hall full of men that wanted to kill me. Neither were we in the room where Alpha Ryder was lying on the floor with a ton of men on him.
We both were outside the building, not just outside but on the road. The road had little lights with trees at both sides. After looking around, my hand on my head as it was aching all of a sudden, I faced Alpha Ryder who was holding me by my waist. Our bodies touching each other.
“Are you okay?” I heard him ask.
I tried to nod, but I winced when my head felt like it wanted to fall off. He let go of my waist. “Are you hurt?” he asked, grabbing hold of the hand I placed on my forehead.
“No, my head just…”
