Madeleine angrily began to clean the dishes and then grabbed his clear drawstring bag. She took it to his bed and emptied it. Madeleine felt the tears begin to burn her eyes as she peered up at the ceiling. She was so angry and frustrated. All she was going to try to do was walk beside him as a support. That was all. She grabbed the blanket from his bag and brought it to her face as she sat on his bed. She had spent so many hours in that hospital knitting it for him. So many hours helping him do mundane things that people took for granted. She sniffed as tears fell down her flushed cheeks.
