Chapter 5: My Secret

RoseLilly 

 After my party everyone left besides my family,friends, and Rich. I was happy that the party was done and over with. All I wanted to do was go up to my room and sit on my bed by myself and think, but knowing my family and friends they will try to cheer me up. As I was sitting on the couch Amanda, Mary, and Bobbie come up to me.

"Hey girl how you holdin up" Amanda asked 

"Fine and I am goin outside for a bit" I said with a small smile as I get up to go outside. I know I should be happy today, but all I can think about is Chrissy clinging to Rich when I first seen them and how to tell my family that I am a witch. As I am lost in my own little world l felt a set of hands on my shoulders and I turned around to see who it is 

"Hey sis the girls told me that you were a little bit down right now so I came to see what is up" Chris said 

"Can we go for a drive" I asked 

"Sure let me go tell mom that we are leaving for a few and let Rich know so he doesn't have to worry about you" he says 

"Okay and grab my keys I want to drive" I say to him as he goes to the house 

"Okay" he replies and I go to my truck and wait for Chris to come out of the house with my keys. As Chris comes out he comes to the driver side and hands me the keys as he opens my door for me.

"Thank you" I said as he was goin to the passenger side of the truck and gets in. I start the truck and take off to my favorite place which is just about 20 minutes away by driving, but 30 minutes away by walking. 

"So where we going" Chris asks 

"You will see and can you grab the bag that is behind me please" I ask

"Sure" he replies as he reaches behind me to grab my bag that has some clothes for me to change into. As we are driving I start to realize that I am going to tell Chris about me being a witch

 "Hey Chris, can you keep an open mind on what I am going to say next and not get mad at me for not tellin you sooner" I tell him

"I will try and I will not get mad" he replies to me. I take a deep breath and start

"What I am going to say and do when we get to a spot you can not tell anyone about it " I pause and start talking again "I am special" I finish 

"I know that you are special" he says 

"I mean special special" I say as we pull up to the river side

"Wait here" I said as I walk to a tent that I set up when i first found the place. I change out of my dress and I go back to my truck to put my duffel bag in my truck and grab a smaller duffel bag with all my items that I need for each spell. After I get the bag I go to the circle that I made last night and said 

"Come sit in front of me and do as I say. Do not ask any questions until I am done" 

"Okay" he answers 

I say a few words in German as I close my eyes and open my bag of goodies. In the bag there is candles of many colors, herbs, cards, fabric bags, small bottles, a bowl and grinder, picture of my family and friends,. A picture of Rich which I put in when we started dating. I pull out the candles that I needed for the spell and I grab the pictures I need and my litter from my back pocket and matches from the bag.

"Close your eyes and think of your crush" I say as I open my eyes and set everything up and grab my bowl and grinder with herbs and close my eyes as I put my hand on Chris's head as I say the spell that I am using tonight. As I keep saying my spell a picture of a beautiful girl came into my view and she turns around and I see who it is. I take my hand away and open my eyes as I say to my brother 

"You can open your eyes now" he does as he is 

told and I begin to do my richeral for my love charm. My richeral is making and mixing the herbs and other ingredients in my bowl.

"Can you grab two fabric bags from my bag" I ask 

"Okay" he says as he grabs the fabric bags for me and hands them to m. I finish grinding the items in my bowl and split it between the two bags. I get a strand of Chris's hair and put it in one bag and close it up and then I go to my duffel bag to grab a baggie that has small baggies in it that has hair of my family and friends. I grab the bag that has the letter a on it  and I pull out a strand of hair to put in the other bag. 

"Can you get out of the circle please" and he does and I repeat the spell, I close my eyes and keep saying the spell over and over again until I get told to stop by my witch spirit. I open my eyes and finish the spell and pick up the fabric bags that has the charms in them and hold them tightly over my heart. As I do this I know that Chris is watching me the whole time. I finish up my spell and go to the river to wash my bowl and grinder. I put everything into my bag and put it back in my truck. I wave at Chris for him to follow me Into the Woods. I stop as I see an outline of the altar guardian and turn around and say

"You must not say a word at all and you must be nice to this woman " He nods to me so that I know he will listen to me. I walk up to the woman and say

"This is my brother and I showed him that I am a witch and I'd like to show on the altar "after I see this I look into her eyes so she knows that I'm telling the truth. She moves to the side and I grab Chris's hand and walk in with the woman in front of us. I let go of his hand and walk up to the altar that has the same words in German language that I say  My spells in. I pray to the moon goddess To see if  She can bless the love charm I made for Amanda and Chris.  I am done I walk up to the woman and say thank you. 

 Chris

    I go and check on my baby sister after the girls told me that Lil was sad I find her outside. I walk up to her and put my hands on her shoulders, she turns around and sees me.

"Hey Sis the girls told me that you were a little down right now so I came to see what is up "I

"Can we go for a ride" Lil asked

"Sure let me go tell mom that we are leaving for a few and  Tell rich so he doesn't have to worry about you"  I tell her

"OK and grab my keys I wanna drive" She says

 "OK" I reply as I go in to find mom and dad talking to the girls.

"Mom RoseLilly and I are going to leave for a few and where is Rich" I asked my mom

"OK and hes in the kitchen"  She tells me

"OK thank you mom" I say as I go to the kitchen to find Rich on his phone. 

"Hey Rich just letting you know that RoseLilly and I are going for a drive. I wanted to let you know so you don't have to worry about her sense you are dating her" 

"OK have fun"  He says as I grab Lil's truck keys 

"OK" I reply as I walk out of the kitchen and go to the front door.  I walk to Lil's truck. I see her on the driver side and I go and open her door as I hand Lil her keys.

"Thank you" Lil says as I close her door and go to the passenger side to get in.

"So where are we going" I ask as she starts to drive

"You will see and can you grab the bag that is behind me" she asks 

"Sure"I say as I reached behind her and grabbed the bag and as we are driving Lil says

"Chris can you keep an open mind on what I'm going to say next and not get mad at me for not telling you sooner"

"I will try and I'm not going to get mad"  I reply

"This is going to be hard on me so "she starts" I am just going to come out with it. I am special"

"I know you are special "  I try to convince her

"No I mean special special "she says as we stop at a riverside

"Please wait here" Lil says as she goes to a tent there she has set up. After she changes she does back to the truck and puts the bag I got for her back in and gets out another bag that is smaller than the first bag.

"Why do you say that Lil" I asked with a curious look  In my eyes as I watch her go to a circle was drawn on the ground. 

"Come and sit in front of me and do not say anything until I am done OK" Lil says in a serious voice

"Ok"   I answer her

"Keep an open mind and do as I say if I tell you to get out of the circle you do it OK. What I'm about to show you, you can not say anything about this to anyone" she says as I nod in response.

"Close your eyes and think of your crush" she asks as I close my eyes I fill her hand on my head as I hear her say something and then I hear her say

"You can open your eyes now" I open my eyes and she put stuff in a bowl and grinds it together.

"Can you grab two fabric bags out of my bag" She asked as I get them out of the bag I say

"OK" And I hand her the bags. She finishes  grinding the items in her bowl and split it between the two bags. Lil then gets a strand of my hair and puts it in one of the bags and ties it up. Then she grabs a baggie the has small bag is in it that has different types of hair. Lil grabs the one that has the letter A on it and then she grabs out a strand of hair and puts it in the other bag and ties it. She then puts both bags In a basket that is in the middle of the circle.

"Can you get out the circle please" she asked and I do and she repeats the spell and closes eyes and keep saying the spell over and over again until she stops.  Lil finishes this spell and the fabric bags has a spell in them and holds them tightly over her heart. I watch your go to the river and wash the bowl and grinder and put everything back in the bag and then she puts the bag back in her truck and makes me follow her into the woods. I stop as I see her stop, then she turns around and says

"You must not say a word at all and you must be nice to this woman" I nod to are so she knows that I will listen to her. I watch your go in stop in front of spirit and says

"This is my brother Chris and I showed him that I'm a witch and I would like to show him the altar" after she says this will starts to walk again and she grabs my hand. Lil lets go of my hand and walks up to an altar that has some words in a language that I don't know. I watch your pray to the goddess as the bags are on the altar. When she is done she walks up to I guess a woman and says

"Thank you"  We walk back to the truck and silence, Either of a saying anything. As we get back to the truck and get in to go home. I want to ask, but don't have the courage to talk. Then she says

"I know but you are wanting to say, so I will answer your question" 

"OK please do I am very curious about what just happened" I said 

"I am a witch and I am not a bad witch, but a good witch. You, the twins, and Amanda are the only ones that know what I am and I will be telling Rich, mom, and dad when I am ready, but not now. I want to tell you because you are my Big Brother and you are my hero that I look up to and  I'm having trouble telling this to you. I have been a witch for a few years now and I think this is the reason why we moved here over the summer" She finishes as I look at her and say

"I am not mad at you for keeping this from me, but I will always be your Big Brother and look out for you. I love you and I will not say anything to anyone about this period what I want to say is that whether you tell Rich is up to you not me. If you do tell him and he does not want to be with you I will be there for you when he breaks up with you. I know that he will love you no matter what you are. Just be yourself OK"

"OK I love you too and I will try"  She says as I smile at her and she smiles at me and says

"Let's go home and finish my birthday with my loving family and friends"

"And boyfriend"  I say as she starts the truck to go home.
