Chapter 4: My Birthday

**One month later**

 RoseLilly 

  "RoseLilly can you come here please" I hear my mom yell from downstairs 

"Coming" I reply as i go to see what she needs and when i get to where mom is at i see dad the twins, and Chris all together 

"Yes mom" I ask 

"Since your birthday is in a few days me and your father has been thinking that it is time to get a vehicle for your birthday" mom said and I look at my sisters and my brother to see their reaction, which all they do is nod their heads at me to say it is true to what mom said. 

"You guys dont have to I like walking everywhere" I said as I make a mental note that I dont like to walk everywhere.

"We all know that you don't like to walk everywhere " Mary says

"So we would like to know what you want to drive?" Dad asks

"I want a truck like Chris's, but not the same color. I want the color to be blues on the outside and red on the inside" I  tell my  dad what I want and he nods his head to let me know that he got what I wanted.

"Well that was what I was thinking so I told dad when he asked what you might want in a vehicle" Chris said 

"So go in the garage and here are the keys go take a look" mom says as dad hands me the keys. I go to the garage and see a truck like Chris's. I go to the driver side, I open the door to see that the inside is red. I shut the door of my truck and see everyone has followed me to the garage. I ran up to my mom and dad and gave them a hug. 

"Thank you thank you thank you" I say to them

"Now go for a spin in your new truck. Oh and here" Chris says as he hands me a phone and continues talking "I already set it up for you with our numbers so go have fun" he finishes and gives me a hug as I am getting in my truck to move the seat up to where I like it. Yes to answer I do have my driver's licenses, I got it when I turned 15. Since it is the weekend I can't show off my truck to everyone. I guess it will be a surprise when I get out of my truck on Monday morning. Aslo since I talked to Chris about Chrissy, I have not had any problems with her when she tells me todo her chores that my parents give us. Chrissy's parents are back so she is back at her house. Mom and dad told them what Chrissy did, so no one really knows what she did to me. As some say carma can be a B**** sometimes and since Chrissy messed up she lost her car and has to take the school bus to school. Auntie has talked to the school and Chrissy is no longer the cheer captain.

**Few days later** 

RoseLilly 

  Today is the day!!! Today is my 16th birthday and I get to show off my new truck to the student body. As I get ready for school and I senced someone at my door.

"Come in" I say before they can knock and Mary and Bobbie comes walking in.

"Happy birthday sis" Mary and Bobbie say as they hand me bags and I open the birthday bags. The twins got me a new dress and shoes to match. 

"This one is from mom" Bobbie says as she hands me a box. I open it up and find an anklet 

"Do you want to help me get ready" I ask the twins 

"Uhh... Yesssssss we do want to help" they say in unison as they push me into my bathroom so I can shower. After I get my shower, I wrap a towel around me and walk into my room to see the twins and my mom in my room. I put on my new dress, mom does my hair as the twins do my makeup. When they get done they back away I look in the mirror.  As I do I don't recognize myself at all. I put my new shoes and my new anklet on. When I am done I walk downstairs to see my whole family here and they yell 

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROSELILLY" all I can do is smile. I get in my truck with the twins to go pick Amanda up and head to school. When we pull up to Amanda's house i honk the horn and she comes out and gets in and says 

"Happy birthday girl and nice truck"

"Thank you"i say to her as she closes the door 

"Are we ready to go to school" I asked

"Yes" they all say in unison and we head to school. As I pull into the parking lot of the school I see Chris getting out of his truck. So I park next to him and his friends. Steven and Andy sees my truck and Chris comes and opens the doors for us girls, but saves my door for last. He opens Amanda and Mary's doors first, then he comes back to the driver side and opens Bobbie's door and then opens my door. I start to step out of my truck and all eyes are on me. All I can do is smile as I look at Steven and Andy with open mouths 

"Boys close your mouths or a fly will fly into your mouth" I say as they close their mouths.

"Happy birthday RoseLilly" Rich says as he hands me a bag 

"You didn't have to get me anything" I say to him

Richard 

  As I walk to Chris and the boys I see a new truck pull in and park next to Chris's truck. Chris walks over to the passenger side of the truck and opens the doors, I see Amanda and Mary get out, then he comes back to the driver side and opens the back door and Bobbie gets out and stands next to Amanda and Mary. He then opened the driver door and I see RoseLilly get out , it is funny to see Steven and Andy's faces when she got out of her truck. I walk up to her and hand her the bag and say 

"Happy birthday Roselilly"  

"You didn't have to get me anything" she says 

"But I wanted to" I say

"Well thank you" she says 

"Hey Chris can I talk to you alone please" I ask 

"Yeah sure" he said and we walk to where they can not hear us talk. 

"Can I ask you something without you getting mad at me" I ask

"Sure go ahead and ask away" Chris said 

"I know that RoseLilly is your baby sister and I wanted to ask you first since we are friends and you are protective over her after what happened. So I wanted to ask if I can date RoseLilly" I finish my question and look at Chris. 

"All i am going to say is you got to ask her and if I find out that you hurt my baby sister in anyway I will come after you and hunt you down. Got it?" He said 

"Yes and you have my word that I will not hurt her in anyway what so ever" I say to him

"Good" he said as we head back to the group. 

"RoseLilly can I ask you something" I ask 

"Sure" she says as she is looking at her friends and I get down on one knee at the same time as she turns around.

"Will you go out with me and be my girlfriend as well?" I ask her

"Yes I will go out with you and I will be your girlfriend " she answered 

"Can you look in the bag that I gave you" I ask her and she looks in the bag to find a ring box inside and she opens the box to find a ring inside the box. I found a promise ring that I thought would look great on RoseLilly. She looks back at me 

"What is the ring for" she asks 

"It is a promise ring, I had just asked your brother if I can go out with you and the ring is a promise to you and your brother that I will not hurt you and if I do you can through that ring at me and tell me that you do not want to see me ever again" I tell her as I put my hand out for the ring box and she hands me the box. I put the ring on her finger and I kissed her hand with the ring on it.

RoseLilly 

  Chris and Rich comes back to the group. 

"Hey RoseLilly, can I ask you something" Rich asks 

"Sure" I say as I turn around as he is getting down on one knee 

"Will you go out with me and be my girlfriend as well" he asks 

"Yes I will go out with you and be your girlfriend" I say as I nod my head yes

"Can you look in the bag I gave you?" He says as I look in the bag to find a ring and I look up as I open the ring box to see a promise ring inside.

"What is the ring for" i ask

"I is a promise ring, I had just asked your brother if I can go out with you and the ring is a promise to you and your brother that is I do hurt you can through that ring at me and tell me that you don't want to see me ever again" he says as he puts his hand out for the ring box and I hand the box and he puts it on my finger. He then kisses my hand that he put the ring on. My birthday was goin great, I had  my new truck,  a new phone, and a boyfriend.  The rest if the day went by as normal as it could go.

**2 later on Thursday** 

  Mom told me to invite my friends from school, so I did. I am inviting Amanda, Rich, Steven, Andy, Sarah, and Beth. I told each of them that they can bring some of their friends as well. My brother and sisters are goin to be there as well. As for Chrissy, I wanted her to be there, but I will not have any drama at my party, so I didnt invite her. Since tomorrow is my birthday party, mom is taking me and the girls shopping to get me ready for my party. For my party I wanted it to be a camouflage theme so we are looking for a camouflage dress, camouflage nail polish, and mom is looking for camouflage accessories for my hair. Dad had told me to get anything I wanted.

**The next night on Friday night**

RoseLilly 

  My party starts at 7pm and everyone should start showing up around then. My mom, Mary, Bobbie, and Amanda wanted to help me get ready for tonight. As I am getting ready for my party that starts in 2 hours. The reason why I am getting ready now is it only take me 10 minutes to get ready, but mom and the girls wanted to help so here we are. After I showered I put the dress that Amanda and the twins picked out for me to wear tonight at my party. Which is a camouflage spaghetti strap dress, it is long in the back and knee length in the front. Mom does my hair again, but does a messy bun with curls hanging out of the bun. The twins painted my nails to match my dress, Amanda does my makeup light which has eyeliner, eyeshadow,and lip gloss that is pink. When they finish they back away from me and looks at me with a smile on their faces 

"You look beautiful Rose" Mary says as mom, Bobbie, and Amanda nods their heads in agreement. As we finish up the final touches I can sence Chris at my door before he knocks 

"Mom Chris is at the door" I tell mom and she goes to open the door. As she open the door Chris is about to knock. So she moves to let him in and he stops in his tracts as he enters my room.

"I know mom will smack me for my comment, but it will be worth the smack" he says as he looks at mom then at me "You are hot baby girl" he says and smiles at me and mom just smiles at him.

"Is everyone here" Bobbie asks 

"Yes everyone is here and that is why I am here to escort my baby sister to her party and dad told me to so yeah" he says as he nods his head yes. Mom and the girls go to the party that is about to begin 

"Are you ready sis" Chris asks and all I can do is nod my head yes. 

"Nervous" he adds and I nod  

"Well dont be we are here for you Okay" he says 

"Okay" I said 

"Its time" Chris said and we head to the party and dad is at the top of the stairs waiting for us. As we get closer dad puts his hands up to quiet the crowd downstairs 

"I know what you all are here for so may I have the birthday girl please"  dad says as I walk up to him and everyone claps their hands as I join dad. Dad and Chris helps me walk down to the party and my boyfriend at the bottom of the stairs 

"You are beautiful Rose" Rich says as I get to the bottom 

"Thank you love" I said to him 

The party started with no problems or drama, until Chrissy and her other minions showed up. I walked up to them with my family, friends, and Rich 

"What the hell are you and your friends doing here? You were not invited" I said 

"Well I came to see my boyfriend and wish you a happy birthday" Chrissy said 

"And who is your boyfriend" Chris asks 

"Rich is my boyfriend" Chrissy says and all we can do is laugh at her. As I get my composer back I  looked at her and asked 

"Rich is that true or not" 

"No baby it is not true Chrissy and I are not together" Rich says as he kisses my cheek. Chrissy was surprised by that and yelled 

"What the f*** you stole him from me" 

"No she didn't we were not going to happen" Rich says as he points between them and then points to me and says "But RoseLilly and I are together now so stop thinking that I will be with someone else besides her" I turn to Chrissy and her friends, but before I could say anything Chris said 

"Now since we got that done. I am sorry dad and Rose, but I have to say this to her" dad and I just nod at him 

"Get the F*** out of this house you are not welcome here anymore " he finishes. At the end of the night, I was ready to spend time with my family and friends 

Richard 

  As the party started Will RoseLilly's dad welcomes everyone and starts the party by welcoming the birthday and my girl. When Rose comes to stand next to her dad, I could not take my eyes off of her at all. Both her dad and brother walked her down the stairs. As they got to the bottom where I was waiting for her.

"You look beautiful Rose" I said 

"Thank you love" she said 

The only one I didn't see was Chrissy and I understand why she is not here because Chrissy bullied Rose to the point where she was not invited. I would not invite Chrissy to my parties, but tonight is not about her it is about the birthday girl and my girl Rose. I was thinking that maybe I will ask her mom and dad when Rose turns 18 if i can marry her. So until then I will have to just date her for now. As the party went on, Rose had seen some people at the door. She looked at her family, friends, and I. We walked up to the group at the door and seen Chrissy and some of her other friends.

"What the hell are you and your friends doing here? You were not invited" Rose said 

"Well we came to see my boyfriend and wish you a happy birthday" Chrissy said as she looks at me.

"And who is your boyfriend" Chris asked 

"Rich is my boyfriend" Chrissy answered and we all laughed at her. As Rose got her composure back 

"Rich is that true or not" Rose asks me

"No baby it is not true Chrissy and I are not together" I answered as I kissed her cheek and Chrissy's face was priceless 

"What the f*** you stole him from me" Chrissy yells 

"No she didn't we were not going to happen" I said as I pointed between Chrissy and I and then I pointed to Rose "But RoseLilly and I are together now so stop thinking that I will be with someone else besides her" I finished and then Chris said

"Now that we are doin with that. I am sorry dad and Rose, but I have to say this to her" both Rose and her dad nods " Get the F***out of this house you are not welcome here anymore" he finishes.
