Chapter 8: My New Start

As I go up to my Room, I know that ridges right behind me and I already know where he is going to ask
"Can you trust him" he asks as I look at him
"Yes I can he is one of my cousins I hear from once in a while" I reply as I go to my closet to change. After I am done change me I leave my closet &c ridge at my bookshelf. I walk up to him and kisses teeth and then I cover myself.
"You ready to meet the rest of my family" I ask as I look up at him
"Yes since I want to know all of your family" He says as he walked out of my Room and downstairs to the dining on where everyone else is.
"Ok I am ready to go if you guys are and also Jack this is my boyfriend Richard aka Rich. Rich this is my cuz Jack" I entered use them after I asked if they are ready to go. Both of the boys shake hands as mom, dad, Chris, and the girls are getting up to go with us.
"I can take 4 people in my jeep" Jack says
"I can take the rest" I say
"We will go with Jack" Dad says as he hels mom up.
"I will go with him as well since it has been awhile since we last talked" Chris says as we are walkin out the door. I walk to my truck with Rich and the girls. Jack, mom, dad, and Chris go to Jack's jeep. Rich helps me in the driver seat and then help the girls in. All three girls get in the back seat and they put Rich I. The front with me. As everyone gets in both Jack's and my vehicles, we set off to Auntie and Uncle's house to get the rest of my grand mama's stuff. I hope that I can be the best queen I can be.
Jack
As I pull up to Auntie's house I see the lights on. So I go up and knock on the door. As the door opens I see Chris
"Hello how may I help you" Chris said
"Yes I am lookin for someone" I reply
"Who are you looking for in do you have a picture of the person" Chris asked me
"Yes I do" I say as I get the picture out and hand Chris the picture. Then Chris yells
"Mom, dad please come here" They both come running to the door and Chris shows them the picture. They look at me and say
"Where did you get this"
"In a box at my grandma's house. I was going to boxes and found that picture and a letter with it" I say
"Do you have the letter with you by chance" Auntie asks
"Yes I do" I said as I pulled the letter out
"Why do you come in and sit so we can talk" Uncle as Chris moves from in front of the door and we all go to the dinin room of the house. As we sit around the table to talk, I start with
"How is everyone doin tonight" I ask
"We are all doin good. How are you and everyone at home Jack" Uncle asks me
"We are all doin good at home" I say
"So besides the letter and picture, what else brings you here tonight" Auntie asks
"Well since Rose is now 16, my grandmother wanted me to come and find RoseLilly. I had to go to a lot of family to find out that y'all moved here to Birch Tree, so I grabbed some clothes and started the trip hereto see Rose" I said to Auntie
"Well she is not here right now and we dont know when she will be back here" Chris says as a guy gets up and goes to the window.
"She's back" he says as he leaves the room. Everyone else gets u and goes with him except for me. I look out the window to see them run to RoseLilly's truck I think. As I watch all of them I see a girl get out with the help of the boy. When she is out of the truck, they all come back in the house and go to the living room. I can hear then talkin about something that happened before I got here.
"So the reason why I left and said what I did was to keep y'all safe. I had to help a spirit of a boy cross over. That is the reason why I got choked up in my room, Rich. He has now crossed over and I don't have to deal with him again" the girl finishes as Auntie says
"We are just glad that you are not hurt" then Auntie says
"There is someone in the dinin room who wants to talk to you" all I can hear is foot steps in the house that is comin in the dinin room
"What can I do for you sir" Rose says as she enters the room
"Please sit down" I say to her as she sits across from me and I continue
"My name is Jack and I am one of your cousins. I thought you might like to read this first before we talk" I said as I hand her the letter and picture. I let her look at the picture and read the letter.
"So Jack what is this about and why are you here" she asks
"Well as the letter says you are the next queen and you can bring peace between all the creatures in the world" I say as she nods
"Well how soon can I see auntie and uncle" she asks
"As soon as you want" I say as she looks at her family and friends
"Can we go now please" Rose asks
"Sure" I answer
"Let me go change out of this really quick and we can be off" Rose says as she gets up to go change. I see the boy get up and go after her and after they leave the room, everyone else goes and gets ready to leave. As I am by myself I call my grandmother Sue to let her know that we will be there in a few days. When everyone is done they come back to the dining room and we sit in silence until we hear RoseLilly and the boy come down the stairs.
"Ok I am ready to go if you guys are and Jack this is my boyfriend Richard aka Rich. Rich this is my cousin Jack" she introduces us and both of us shake hands as everyone gets up.
"I can take 4 in my jeep" I say
"I can take the rest" Rose says
"We will go with Jack" uncle says as he helps auntie up
"I will go with Jack since it has been awhile since we talked" Chris said as we are walkin out the door. The girls and Rich goes with Rose in her truck and when we were all loaded up in our rides we headed out. When 9 PM came around I had Chris call Rose to see if she wants to stop or keep goin since I seen her get in the driver seat.
"Rose said that she can keep goin a little bit longer" Chris tells me, so I keep goin until I see a hotel and I pull in the parking lot as I see Rose's truck pull in as well. I get out and go to the driver side window to talk with Rose.
"So do you want to stop here for the night and head out in the mornin" I ask as everyone that rode with me came to the truck.
"What do you guys think" she asks everyone in her truck and us
"What time do you want to head out in the morning since it is 10pm now" Rich asks
"I was thinking about 7am, so we can sleep for a little while and be on the road by 7:30" I say as they nod their heads in agreement.
"Ok we can do that. So how are we goin to do the rooms" RoseLilly asks
"I was thinking about 4 to 5 rooms or how ever many they have open" I reply
"Ok I will help you pay for the rooms" RoseLilly says as she gets out and we head to the hotel office to pay for the rooms.
"Hello we would like to see how many rooms you have open for tonight" I ask
"Ok let me see what I have" the hostess says
"Ok" RoseLilly says
"Ok by the looks of what I have open for the night is 5 rooms are open, so how many rooms will you need tonight?" The hostess asks
"Good can we get all 5 rooms please" Rose asks
"Yes you can, so how will you be payin for the rooms" the hostess asks
"How much is each room" I ask
"Each room is $50 so that comes out to be $250 all together" the hostess says
"Ok and we will be splitting the bill" I say
"Ok sir your total is $125" the hostess says as I hand her my card
"Ok your all set sir and your total is $125 ma'am" the hostess says as Rose hands the hostess her card.
"Ok you guys are all set and here are your room keys" the hostess says
"Ok thank you" rose says as we leave the office
"Your welcome and have a good evening" the hostess says as we are leaving
"You too" I say

After we get the room keys we head back to everyone. As we get to everyone else I talk first
"Ok so haw are gonna do this" I say as I wake the girls up
"The twins can share a room" mom says
"If it is okay with Rose, I would like to share a room with her" Rich asks
"Its fine with me" I tell him
"So that leaves 3 rooms left, mom and dad will have their own room. Jack can have his own room, so that leaves Amanda and Chris" I say
"If amanda wants we can share a room" Chris says
"I am fine with that" amanda says as she hides her face from Chris. So we hand out the keys to everyone and we head to our own rooms that are right next to each other. When we all get to our rooms, we all get ready for bed. Rich and I sit and talk about how we are sleeping.
"So baby, since there is only one bed how about we share the bed? Chris has told me that you have been having trouble falling asleep." He says
"He is right about that, I have been having trouble falling asleep and I like that idea" I tell rich as we get ready for bed. I climbed in bed first and then Rich climbed in behind me. I laid my head on his chest and sleep started to take over as he pulled me closer to him.

After Rose and I head back downstairs to everyone else.
"Ok I am ready to go If you guys are and also Jack this is my boyfriend Rich. Rich this is my cousin Jack" Rose introduces us us. Both of us shake hands as everyone gets up
"I can take 4 people in my jeep" jack says
"I can take the rest" Rose says
"We will go with Jack" Will says as he helps Rachel up
"I will go with him as well, since we last talked" Chris said as we walked out the door. The girls and I went with Rose in her truck. I help the girls in the truck and three of the girls got in the back seat while Rose and I take the front seat. When we are all loaded up in both vehicles we head out. When it hits 9pm, Chris calls Rose to see if she wants to continue or take a break from driving since she is in the driver seat, that was around 9pm. So we kept goin until we pulled into a hotel parking lot. Rose and I watched as Jack got out and came to Rose's window to talk.
"So do you want to stop here for the night and head in the mornin" he asked as everyone that rode in his jeep came to the truck.
"What do you guys think" she everyone that was awake.
"What time do you want to head out in the mornin since it is 10pm now" I ask
"I was thinking about 7am, so we can sleep for a little while and be on the road by 7:30" Jack says as we all nod in agreement.

"Ok how are we gonna do this" Rose asks as she wakes the girls up.

"If it is ok with Rose, I would like to share with her" I said

"So that leaves 3 rooms left, mom and dad will have their own room. Jack can have his own room, so that leaves Amanda and Chris" Rose says to everyone as we look at Amanda and Chris
"If amanda wants we can share a room" Chris says
"I am fine with that" Amanda says as she hide her face from Chris. So they hand out the room keys to everyone and we head to our rooms. By the looks of the rooms they are right next to each other. When we all get to our rooms we get ready for bed. Rose and I sit and talk about how we are sleepin.
"So baby, since there is one bed how about we share the bed? Chris told me that you are having trouble falling asleep" I ask
"He is right about that I have been having trouble falling asleep at night and I like that idea" she says as we get ready for bed. Rose climbs in the bed first and I climb in bed behind her. As I pull her closer to me, she lays her head on my chest as I put my arms around her. I set my alarm for 6am since Chris told me that Rose is hard to get up in the morning. After I do that I put my phone on charge and go to sleep with my little witch that I love with all my heart.
*In the morning*

As my alarm goes off at 6 and I get up and get ready to go. After I am done I start to wake Rose up.
"Hey babe, it's time to get up and if you don't get up I will give you something you don't want" I say to her
"And what is it that I don't want from you" she asks as I get on the bed with her
"I will pour ice cold water on you" I tell her
"I thought you would say something else, but I don't want you to pour ice cold water on me, so I will get up.after you give me a good mornin kiss" she tells me as I reach down to give her a good mornin kiss. After I give Rose her good morning kiss she gets up and gets ready to go. When we finish getting ready we head to breakfast and wait for everyone else to come down for breakfast. As 7 come around everyone is ready to to leave. Jack and I go and check out of the rooms they rented for the night. Then I ask Rose if she would like me to drive. Instead of answering me she hands me the keys to her truck. I help the girls get in and then I get in the driver seat. I waved at Jack to let him know that we were ready to go. Rose puts the arm rest up that is between us and moved closer to me so she can put her head on my shoulder and hold my hand with hers.

As I hear an alarm go off I feel Rich get out of bed and get ready then he come back to me.
"Hey babe it's time to get up and if you don't I will give you something you don't want" he says
"And what is it I don't want from you" I ask
"I will pour ice cold water on you" he said to me
"I thought you were going to say something else, but I don't want you to pour ice cold water
On me, so I will get up after you give me a good mornin kiss" I tell him as he reaches down to give me a good mornin kiss. I get up and got ready to go. When we finished getting ready we headed down to breakfast and wait for everyone else to come down for breakfast to leave. As 7 comes around everyone is ready to leave. Jack and Rich goes and checks out of the 5 rooms we rented for the night. Then they come back to the rest of up and Rich asks
"Do you want to drive or do you want me to drive" after he finished I do not answer and I just hand him my keys. He helps us girls get in before he gets in the driver seat as he waves at Jack. I put up my middle seat that is up front and move closer to him. I put my head on his shoulder and then I put our hand together as we continue our drive to auntie's house. After a long day of driving, I am driving again after we stopped for a restroom break. We finally made the last stretch of the drive to Auntie's house. When we pull up to the house everyone gets out of the vehicles they were in. A couple comes out of the house to welcome us. We all walk behind Jack until we get to the porch.
"This is Roselilly, Chris her brother, Amanda her friend, mary and Bobbie are twin and Rose's sisters, Rich her boyfriend, then Rachel and Will are her mom and dad" jack says to them
"We are aunt Sue and uncle Sam" auntie Sue says to everyone as she grabs my hand and pulls me into a hug.
"Let's go inside and talk then we can show you where you will be sleeping for your stay" Auntie says as we go into the house. When we get to the dining room, we sit at the table, ingest put at the head of the table by uncle Sam and auntie Sue.
"Jack go get the boxes for.us and if you need help ask the young men right over there and put the boxes in the living room" uncle Sam said as he points to the boys and then point to the living room. As the three boys leave, my uncle and auntie comes and sits next to me.
"Ok since you came sooner then we expected you would be coming, so we will start. Ever your mom let you come and see you grandmother as you started to talk. Your momdidnt know what to do so she asked for help when you started to talk to the dead. We figured that you were a witch that was goin to be the next queen. Whenever you were ready to learn to be queen of all. We are part of the witches cancel, so the rest of the cancel will be here in a few day. So we can start your queen lessons, if you would like training starts at 6am sharp" uncle Sam says as he continues " I had the boys bring the boxes to the living room when you are done looking through them, I will have the boys put the boxes in your truck" he finishes as we all get up to go to the living room, as the boys come back in the dining room. We head to the living room the boys stay standing and mom and dad sat on the small couch while I sit between auntie and uncle, as the girls sit on the floor.
"Ok Roselilly, I need you to open this box first please" auntie says as Jack hands me the box to open. I open the box to find different sizes of bowls and grinders with different types of herbs. In the box as well was pictures of me and mama Lilly. I start to cry when I see the pictures. I got up and go to the next box to find different things in each box that I opened.
"Boys can you take the boxes to my truck please and I am goin to go get the door" I ask as the boys as I get up to to answer the door.
Jack
As we pull up to the house I see then door open. We get out of our vehicles and then we walk up the sidewalk to my grandparents that are on the porch.
"This is Roselilly, Chris her brother, Amanda her friend, Mary and Bobbie are her twin sisters, then her mom and dad" I say to them
"We are aunt Sue and uncle Sam" my grandmama Sue says to everyone as she pulls Rose into a hug.
"Let's go inside and talk then we can show you where y'all will sleep for your stay" mama says as we go into the house. As we enter the dining room, I get pulled to the side by my papa as mama puts Rose at the head of the table.
"Jack go get the boxes for us and if you need help ask the young men over there and put them in the living room" he says to me. I get the boys to help me move the boxes to the living room.
"Boys come and help me move some boxes to the living room" I tell them and they both help me to move the boxes. When we get done moving the boxes, we went to the dining room to sit and listen to Rose and my grandparents, they got up as we walked into the room. So we all go to the living room where the boxes ar. Roselilly sits between mama Sue and papa Sam on the couch. The rest of us sit wherever we can, us boys just stand by incase something happens.
"Ok Roselilly, I need you to open this box first please" mama Sue says as I get the box that mama pointed to and hand it to Rose to open. As Rose opens the box she starts to cry and she continues with opening boxes. When she gets done looking through the boxes she asks
"Boys can you take the boxes to my truck please and I am going to get the door" she finishesthere is a knock on the front door.
"How did she know someone was goin to knock on the door" I ask as I pick up a box to to take the boxes to Rose's truck. As we enter the hallway we see that Rose is talkin with a man. I put the box down to see who it was ar the door. When I get closer I see that it is one of the witch cancel members Franklin.
"Hi Franklin" I greeted himas I went back to doing my job Rose has me doing.
"Hi Jack and you young lady must be Roselilly" Franklin says
