Calantha's point of view: PAST: I sit at the front of my window, overlooking the vast garden. It's nearing autumn, and the leaves are falling. Infact, most of the trees don't have leaves anymore. However, it makes for a great view. The air is filled with the smell of dry leaves, and fading blooms. I let out a sigh before shifting my gaze from the window and back to the book on my lap. It's a human book, one that I'd crept into the innermost part of the royal library just to steal… no, take. I rarely go out, father forbids me, saying unless I want to be sucked dry.
