Chapter 2: Revelation

Candles flickered in the cave, casting shadows that danced across the walls. Priestess Aria knelt before her sacred mirror, the scent of sandalwood and it was heavy in the air. Her fingers traced the intricate carvings on the frame, feeling the weight of generations of priestesses who had come before her. Tonight, the mirror would speak again. Aria took a slow, steadying breath. She had performed this ritual countless times, but tonight felt different. The air itself thrummed with anticipation. A shiver ran down her spine as she lit the final candle, letting the golden glow spill across the cave. The mirror shimmered. A voice, soft yet commanding, echoed through the room. "Greetings, Priestess of the Three Kingdoms. I bring a message of great importance. Three children will be born and will bring balance to the world. You are to guide them." Aria’s heart thumped so loudly she feared it might echo off the stone walls. Three children? Could they truly unite vampires, werewolves, and witches who had known only bloodshed and mistrust for centuries? "Moon Goddess," she whispered, trembling, "how will I find them? Who will their parents be? How will I know they are the ones?" "They will come from different realms. Each will bear a crescent-shaped mantle on their forehead a mark that will reveal them to you. Their powers must be harmonized, and only together can they fulfill their destiny." Aria’s mind spun. Vampires, werewolves, witches… enemies all, yet the Goddess spoke of unity. How could she bring them together without igniting more bloodshed? "Send invitations," the Goddess continued. "Tell them you bear my message. Trust their desire for peace. But beware: the mantle is visible only under the full moon when the time is right." And make sure when you find them don't allow them to be know to anyone until when the time is right. Her hands shook as she summoned her messengers: two sleek black birds with piercing eyes. On a piece of parchment, her pen moved almost of its own accord: "To the Vampire King keal and Queen, I invite you to a meeting. The Goddess has a message for you. It is crucial that you hear it. Priestess Aria" The birds took flight into the night, disappearing among the stars. Aria watched them vanish, a flutter of hope rising in her chest, though the weight of responsibility pressed down on her. One misstep, and centuries of war could continue unchecked. Her servants, Malaika and Asher, approached cautiously. "What just happened?" Malaika asked, eyes wide. "You spoke with the Goddess? About… three children? Are we sending them to their deaths?" Asher shook his head. "It is possible, but the Goddess herself promised this. We can only hope they arrive with peace in their hearts." Malaika swallowed hard. "I hope so." Far deeper in the forest, near the forbidden lands, a man paced, speaking in urgent whispers to a woman beside him. "So there’s a prophecy about three children who will bring balance to the world…" he spat, fury in his voice. "I almost died trying to prevent it. That will never happen not until I become the leader of all kingdoms." "Calm down, my lord," the woman said, her tone measured. "We’ll speak to the black witch. She will complete the spell, and you will become the strongest creature in the world ruler of all kingdoms." A dark gleam filled his eyes. "Then nothing can stop me. I will be the strongest… and everyone will kneel before me." "That's a most".
