“What the f**k happened to you?” Big Bulai said as Jakira’s tears turned into heaving sobs. “Get those skinny legs inside.”
Kalal put an arm around Jakira and pulled her in. Big Bulai closed the gate.
Big Bulai, already walking towards the villa, said, “Put her in my hut and bring her a new sack. I’ll inform Master and then I’ll be back to question her.”
“You came back,” Kalal said as he walked her to Big Bulai’s hut. “I can’t believe you found your way back.”
“I remembered the way,” she snivelled.
“Did you get your miracle?” he asked.
