A while ago, he was in some stray place with his father. He had been in such mode before, but had no idea what name twas called. He wished he had an idea. Twas obviously morning and the day was quite clear. He wanted to stand up as usual and crush on the beauty of the long lawn with emissaries of clouds, but his mind was too heavy to contain the biddings. He heard the twitters of birds few metres away from him. He had always wanted to touch those creatures too. They were quite small and precious. They should be sapid. Yeah! He should eat one them come his lucky day. He did wish that he would be able to fly. But that was better left as a wish. He could walk and run but had no guts to fly. None of his breed had ever done, not even when they were making wishes. He could be an exception for all he did care. No one should tell him what to do and how to do it. He was responsible for himself. He was responsible to himself. He had survived that far. Twasnt because he was only powerful, but he was wise too. If none would appreciate him, of course he would appreciate himself. That was the best gift he could ever think of giving himself. He tried as much as possible to remember what his father had said, but the little red with several black stripes bird kept severing and chopping his attention. He couldn't use the thoughts he needed. Then a drip of dew dropped on his chest. He was forced to look up. There was a tree, whose leaves and twigs were hovering over him. He then looked away from the tree. The water on his skin felt like that he had stepped his feet in some days back. He didn't know if he would be bold enough to take such risk anymore. He firstly touched the water which had dropped on his chest. He couldn't touch anything. It had already been slurped by the thirsty skin. He looked at where the water dropped. He was shocked at what he saw. He had felt it when he did touch his chest in the first place. He had felt a strange texture and substance on his finger. He no longer had the skin he used to have. There seemed to had been some metamorphoses he couldn't attend to. Those which he couldn't split or make apt meaning of. The skin was no longer darkish blue. Twas somewhat green and somewhat brown. He was less sticky and more of being neat. He didn't smell odd any more neither was there any gore on any part of his body. That seemed to be a new version of him. He wasn't sure if he would like it or not. His memory seemed to be playing a trick on him. He couldn't handle it of course. He fought his way around it and was able to make the meaning he wanted of it. He remembered that his father had forcefully imparted him because he would be retrieved. Was that the effect of the impartation? He wanted to be sure but there was no one to prove anything to him. He wished there were someone. He asked himself why his father had chosen him of all his siblings. He could had chosen the eldest but he rathered him to them. That was impressive but confusing. He stood. That was the only thing he could think of. He had several thoughts coming to his mind but he felt like he was yet incomplete. Of course all the thoughts were relevant but he felt a void in himself. He should begin to think of living under the root. Living on the tree and in a trunk had caused him lots of hurts. He wouldn't be able to keep tolerating or taking those anymore. When he used to live on the trees, he would fall on many occasions. He would be drenched by rain before he would awake. That did send some taunting feeling across his spines. He had no idea that was what cold was. Sleeping in the trunk was no difference but it was with its own odds. Sometimes he had woken up to tigers standing at the mouth of the trunk. Most times he had been attacked by crazy snakes. He tied those fellows he killed the other time to neighboring trees. That should serve as some warnings to the rest too. Even after several warnings which he had given, none of the creatures seemed to take it. All would keep coming. He wished he were like them, he wouldn't had had to leave the underworld. He heard a noise. Not of an animal at that moment. He was beginning to be able to discern the voice of the humans from those of the other creatures. The humans could keep talking for a long while but those creatures would never do that. Even if they would talk, twas always brief, precise and perky. Like straight to the point. And that was it. The voice he had heard was what had dug the void he had been feeling. He was glad that he could fill it at that moment. He began to run towards the river. He needed to see the creature of course. He needed to go to the creature's place. He wouldn't possibly be able to discern all their lives by shying away all the time. He should see for himself. His legs were light. There seemed to be something very strangely new about him. A part of him wanted him happy but he needed more than that. He was sure. He had assisted the creature when she had drowned, he should have to get some reward for that. Even if it's just speaking with her. Hell! He wouldn't be able to speak to her. He didn't understand her language? He couldn't be sure though. He would figure out. He got to the end of the forest. He saw a boat at the shore. Quite close to the water though. He stepped forward, two steps, and looked around for the owner. Nobody was there. Ah! He could use that to get to the lady's land. He ran towards the boat.
