I sighed in frustration as I looked over the packet of information Jacqueline had given me a week ago. I had searched our Archives for days but I couldn't find anything on the shifter family in Maratol! It was as if there was no information to be had!
There was a vague sentence about a magic-user who had gone to the human city to study humans but then no trace of them again after that. There had been an attack around the same time and the shifters had been so busy trying to help with the clean up and making sure our secret was kept safe that no one bothered to find out if the magic-user was still there or not.
