Aarhea’s Point of View
I had known for days.
They thought their whispers in the council chamber went unheard. They thought their plotting under the cloak of night was hidden. But the palace has ears everywhere!
Amara walked into my room the next morning with her gentle smile, "How are you, Aarhea?" asked me, concerned about my wound.
I wanted to rip the mask from her face. She was my best friend, my sister in all but blood. And yet, behind that soft voice and careful eyes, and angelic face, she had already betrayed me!
I tilted my head. I wanted to expose them, but not yet!
"Logan and Dad is busy now. Knowing what had happened, and who is responsible of the attack!" she infor.ed me.
Tsk. If I did not know their plan, I'm sure, I will fall to her words. But I am not a fool anymore!
