“You did well today, Aarhea,” she murmured when we arrived in my room.
“It wasn’t easy, I know. But sometimes, the hardest choices are the right ones.” she continued.
I lowered my gaze, letting my shoulders slump. “I…I don’t know if it was right. I feel like my heart is tearing apart.” I said, pretending to take their sympathy.
Amara squeezed my hand gently.
“That’s only because he blinded you for so long. You were close to him. It’s natural to feel confused. But you’ll see the truth soon. We’ll help you through it.”
Logan, walking on my other side, gave a low chuckle.
