“You’re shaking,” I said.
Liana had both her arms wrapped tightly around herself. Even though she wore my large jacket and had received some new clothes from Erin, she was shivering uncontrollably. I had just managed to get a fire started when I noticed.
I stood up and walked over to her. She was curled up on the ground, and I sat down behind her, pulling her closer. She sighed with relief and buried her head against my chest.
“Y-You’re so warm,” she stammered, her lips blue.
“We should have stopped sooner,” I groaned, feeling annoyed with myself.
