In the middle of the night, someone burst through the door of the room where Raven and I were staying. She was in the adjoining room, washing up, while I was in the process of taking off my shirt when a woman with very blonde hair and blue eyes, dressed in a provocative outfit, came running in.
I stared at her, at a loss for words. She looked flustered, with red cheeks and rapid breathing. It was obvious she was a working girl, but I had no idea why she had entered our room.
“Cole?” Raven emerged from the other room, her eyes widening as she took in the scene before turning to me, looking as if she expected me to explain.
“Who is she?” she asked.
