Chapter 10

Tristan’s POV

I groaned as I emptied myself into one of the random girls I had met at the bar. While f*****g her, my mind was on Melanie. I made sure to wear a condom so no mishaps could happen.

“That was amazing baby.” The girl said and I nodded and panted trying to catch my breath. I’m sure when Mel said that I should have fun she didn’t mean this kind of fun.

The thought of Melanie ever finding out that I’ve been cheating on her for the past few years and her leaving me made my insides clench.

I should really stop this but it just feels so good and the rush I get every time just makes me keep on going even though I know it’s wrong.

I got up from the bed when I heard that the girls’ breath was evened out and her eyes were shut.

I slipped on my shirt and headed out her door. I closed the door behind me softly so I didn’t wake her up and turned around.

I was walking out of the hotel when I bumped into a guy. “Oh sorry.” The guy apologized and he seemed familiar but I ignored it and hailed a cab and gave him my address.

When I got home it was already 8:43 am and I stumbled into the house feeling slightly drunk.

I saw Melanie curled up on the sofa and I sighed feeling guilty and went to pick her up to put her in bed and lay next to her for the remaining hours I had left before I had to go to work.

I picked her up and she looked so peaceful but suddenly frowned when she put her face in my chest reminding me of the girl I had just f****d.

I gently placed her on the bed and went to take a shower. I put on a pair of sweats and got into bed with her and she instantly snuggled into me and kissed my chest making me hum in approval and drift off.

I woke up to my alarm and I quickly turned it off so I wouldn’t wake my angel. I know she had a long night at the hospital so I didn’t want to wake her.

I sighed thinking about last night and kissed Melanie’s cheeks and pushed the thoughts of last night to the back of my head.

 I took a deep breath of her scent and got ready for work. I put on my suit and grabbed my suitcase and walked out the house locking it behind me.

I walked over to the coffee shop that was 2 minutes away and ordered myself a whole cup of espresso without milk or sugar wanting to wake myself up.

“Hey aren’t you Melanie’s fiancée?” The cashier asked me and I swallowed my drink and nodded.

“Oh did she tell you about the thing yet or not?” The girl asked excitedly and I furrowed my eyebrows at her. “What thing?” I asked and she stopped squealed and composed herself.

“If you don’t know what it is then that means you’re in for the best surprise of your life.” The girl said and winked at me and I nodded and walked out of the store.

I hailed a cab easily since we lived near a slightly busy rode and told him where to drop me.

I took the elevator up to my floor and the secretary winked at me making me chuckle and shake my head at her greeted me.

Yup you guessed it. I had a one night stand with her as well but she started getting possessive over me which is kind of a deal breaker when she threatens to tell your fiancée what you’ve done when you don’t answer her phone calls.

I walked into my office and got down to business and worked till it was lunch time and a knock on my door made me snap out of my thoughts and I looked up to see Susan who was the secretary smirking at me and I knew what she wanted.

“I want my lunch now sir.” She said and licked her lips and her eyes trailed down to my crotch making me instantly hard.

“Lock the door and shut the blinds.” I commanded and she did as told and dropped on her knees and pulled down my pants making me groan as she palmed me through my boxers.

She looked up at me as she pulled my member from inside my boxers. She wrapped her plump pink lips around my throbbing member and sucked on my tip while playing with my balls.

"f**k. Stop teasing and take me in your mouth." I growled and grabbed her stringy blonde hair and started thrusting harshly into her throat.

I stood up so I could thrust into her mouth better and she dug her claws into my thighs as I kept on hitting the back of her throat.

I held her head still as I felt my c**k starting to twitch. Oh no you don't. I wanted this to last for as long as possible.

She pulled away and gasped for air and looked up at me and I smirked as I saw her makeup running down her face.

"Suck me dry." I commanded and she happily complied.

I groaned as I felt my release nearing and I grabbed ahold of her head and f****d her mouth as hard as I could.

I could hear her gagging as I released my load into her throat.

I got out of work and hailed a cab home. When I got home I went straight to the shower to wash away the smell of s*x and Susan.

I got dressed in a pair of sweat pants and walked shirtless and stopped in front of a mirror.

I looked at my light brown eyes and noticed that they were slightly dull and sad rather than cheery and full of life like when they were before.

My brown hair was slightly longer and my tan skin was still flawless. I looked down at my abs and flexed in the mirror making me chuckle at myself.

In the reflection I could see Melanie sleeping in the bed making me stop my stupidity and smile softly at her.

I looked at my eyes and noticed they were filled with guilt and love and looked less dull and sad.

I realized that being with Melanie made me so much happier. I need to tell her before she finds some other way and if I tell her myself then it would be better and I would be able to win her back some sort of way.

I’ll tell her today I decided and walked over to her and kissed her cheeks softly and a small smile formed on her lips making me adore her even more.

The thought of her leaving me made me frown and I prayed that she would only request sometime away and I would win her back.

We will have a family together I thought and caressed her tummy and I smiled the thought of a little girl with her mothers light blue eyes and my tan skin along with her mothers lightly tanned skin running around the house.

I walked out of the room and down the stairs into my office and started completing my work since a certain someone kept popping into my office at work to get me off.

I worked till I saw that it was almost 6 pm. I thought I heard someone calling me but I ignored it and continued doing my work when my phone rang and I knew who it was.

“Hello?”

“Baby where are you gonna come over tonight?” Susan asked and I groaned in frustration.

“No.” I said and I heard her shuffling around.

“Does that mean that you don’t want me anymore and you want me to pay your fiancée a visit?” She asked and I shook my head.

“I only want you baby. I swear.” I said in a serious tone but really I felt like gaging.

“You’re lying to me aren’t you!” She shrieked and I panicked.

“I swear! Melanie is just too fat for me! I love you and only you baby. I love you.” I said making myself internally punch myself.

“I love you more baby and you’re right that b***h doesn’t deserve you.” She said and my jaw clenched and I felt like slapping her so hard that her acrylics fell off.

“Will I see you soon?” She purred and I started felling so ashamed of myself for going for her.

“Yes. Soon don’t worry about it.” I said and cut the phone not letting her say anything else. 

A noise behind me caught my attention and I saw Melanie and I smiled lovingly at her.

“Hey baby.” I said but instantly frowned when I noticed the tears in her eyes.

“What’s wrong? Did you hurt yourself? Are you okay?” I asked her and started walking to her but I noticed she had dropped a small box and I went to pick it up for her.

“Who was that?” She asked in a soft tone making me tense. I looked up from the box and gave her a small smile.

“Oh it was just my boss. He wanted to see if I had those reports done for the presentation tomorrow.” I said lying with ease with not so much as a twitch.

She scoffed and wiped away a tear that trickled down her soft pink cheek making me want to hold her and comfort her.

I made a move towards her but she moved away making my eyes widen in shock and hurt.

She knows! She heard the whole thing! The words kept repeating in my head but I shook them off not wanting it to be true.

I watched as she reached for the ring on her small hand and I knew she heard every single lie that I had told Susan.

She threw the engagement ring at my feet and my eyes clouded with tears.

“B-baby.” I whispered trying to get near her and explain how stupid I’ve been.

“I can explain. Please.” I whispered wanting her in my arms.

“Explain what? That you are cheating on me? That you were only with me for s*x probably? Oh wait no you could get s*x anytime my bad. You want to explain to me that I’m not good enough for you or up to your standards so you decided to cheat on me? Do you even know why I’m getting fat?!” She asked in disbelief and placed a hand on her stomach.

“Where you so caught up with cheating on me that you forgot what we were trying to start?” She asked and her voice cracked.

I stared at her with wide eyes and tears trickled down my face.

“Open it.” She said and chuckled humorlessly and pointed at the small box that was still my hands.

I couldn’t move and I just stared at her sad face.

I should have just told her and came clean. I kept on thinking.

“OPEN THE f*****g BOX TRISTAN!” She yelled and started sobbing. All I wanted was to apologize and beg her to keep me.

I opened the box and saw a pregnancy test that was positive and there was a small black and white picture of an embryo.

“Surprise.” She said and chuckled humorlessly and walked out of the office leaving me to look at the objects in my hands.

A ring that I once placed on her finger was now lying near my feet and the baby I always wanted was brought to me in a photo along with a test that was positive.

I dropped the things and ran up the stairs into our room looking for her but when I entered the closet I saw that all her stuff was gone. Not a single trace of her was left in the closet.

I quickly ran outside in time to see her driving off. I quickly ran after her car calling for her but she was already gone from my sight.

“f**k!” I yelled making people look at me but I didn’t care. I tried hailing a cab but they all passed me by probably thinking I was crazy.

“Melanie!” I yelled and I let my tears stream down my face.

I sat on the curb and cried for god knows how long till it started raining but I just there crying.

The rain stopped and I looked up to see Amanda holding an umbrella over my head.

“I told you to do it sooner.” She said and gave me a sad smile and helped me to my feet.

“She’s pregnant.” I told her and Amanda nodded.

“I know. She told me everything. The way she was planning on surprising you to the way she left you.” She said and I grimaced at the last part.

We reached the house and Amanda handed me a towel and I started wiping my face when Melanie’s scent of vanilla and jasmines hit my nose.

“I was planning on telling her tonight, but Susan called and I had to say things to her to make her not drive to our house and tell Melanie herself.” I said and Amanda came and handed me another towel.

I stood up with Melanie’s towel and walked into my office and picked up the ring. I showed Amanda the ring and she gasped.

“She’s not coming back. They aren’t coming back.” I said and broke down again.

Melanie’s POV

“Surprise.” I said and chuckled humorlessly and I walked out of his office. I ran up the stairs and started packing all of stuff up and shoving them into suitcases. By the time I was done the closet was half empty.

I ran into the laundry room and shoved all of my clothes into a tot not caring if they were wet or not.

I ran outside and fumbled for my car keys then finally unlocked my car. By the time I had started the car I was crying hysterically.

I started driving off and heard Tristan yelling for me but I did my best to ignore him and I drove off.

I picked up my phone and called the group.

“Hello wasabi gangster speaking Karina answered making the rest chuckle but I started sobbing.

“He cheated on me,” I said and everyone went silent.

“We know.” Amanda whispered and to say I was even more hurt was an understatement.

“What the f**k do you mean by “We know.”” I yelled and they all went silent.

“Well I found out that he was cheating on you yesterday when I bumped into him when he was exiting a hotel and I was dying to tell you but I don’t know I didn’t have the guts to do it so I told Megan.” Karina said.

“Yeah and when Karina asked if we should tell you and I was scared so then we told Amanda and she said that she’s known for a long time.” Megan said in a small voice.

“Amanda?” I whispered wanting…no needing to hear her explanation.

“The first time I caught him was when we got home from that party at Chase’s house and I caught him f*****g Maggie on the sofa and he promised to tell you so I let it go and I thought he told you ‘cause you guys didn’t speak for a week. So I let it go. Then these guys told me what happened and we were planning on telling you together but I guess you found out.” Amanda said in a voice that told me that she was crying.

“I’m so sorry Melanie.” Karina said and I heard her voice crack.

“We didn’t mean to keep it from you.” Megan said with a shaky voice.

“I need to go.” I whispered and cut the phone call not wanting to hear any more words from the people I thought I could trust.

Tears blurred my vision and I rubbed my face with my arm and then I heard a loud honk.

I moved my arm from my face and saw lights flashing at me.

I tried swerving out of the way but it was too late. The car hit my side of the car and I hit my head against the window.

Everything was blurry and I could hear ringing in my ears. I tried keeping my eyes open but the urge to close them got stronger and stronger till I finally succumbed to my urge to close my eyes.
