368 Words
Mark was in the living room watching a TV program then suddenly, his friend came to his house with a laptop and said: "There is a business opportunity for us". "What's the business?" Mark asked. "It's called Yahoo. Yahoo means rude person. We are going to be doing rude things on the Internet to make money" his friend answered. "Leave my house" Mark said. Then Mark continued "First you introduced me to bet9ja and now you are introducing me to yahoo. I am not interested". Mark's friend designed a fake bet9ja website and since he knows that it is very difficult to win, no one will detect that the website is fake for a long time". Two months later, Mark's friend made up to 60 million naira. Mark was surprised. Mark later warned his friend and told him to stop what he was doing but his friend refused and encouraged him to play bet and that since he is the owner of the site, he will make sure he wins. Mark was tempted and refused because if he starts gambling, he will be addicted to it and he also knows that gambling is wrong. When Mark's friend had made up to 500 million he decided to crash the site. Before he crashed the site, he was already tracked by the EFCC. He started hearing police sound and quickly hurried to escape. As he was looking for ways to escape, he saw Mark playing football with his friends. He just ignored Mark and started to run. The police ran after him. "FREEZE!!. YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR!!" A police shouted. He continued looking for ways to escape and when he was stranded. His legs began to shake. Suddenly a strange man came and rescued him and the police men couldn't find him. "What's your name?" the man who rescued him asked. "My name is Dan" the boy replied. "Why did you do what you did" The man asked. "I just wanted to make money'' Dan answered. "Through scamming people!?. Don't you know it was even wrong for me to rescue you!?. The police are at your house. All your money will be taken away from you" the man answered.
