"So, you're telling me she's gonna tell Blaire all your secrets if you don't push her away?" Tom asks again, for the third time.
I sat in my office, rolling in my chair, in my mess. I sigh and then turn in the chair to face him. "Yes, Tom. That's basically everything."
"You know your biggest mistake, Craig?"
Tom looks at me with full attention, "Messing with your brother. You shouldn't have lied to your dad about your marriage with Veronica. Although you may have claimed GLAZE, you also have lost someone important. If George finds out that you've been playing him all along, GLAZE won't be the only thing you'd be loosing." He states.
I look at him and then sigh, placing my hand on my desk. "You need not remind me of my past mistakes. I'm fully aware of that. While Brian may be as cunning as Veronica herself, I too, have my mischievous ways. Have you forgotten how many times I've put him in jail and framed him? I can do that again." I conclude.
"Sure, sure. Until Blaire finds out herself how much of a jerk you've been in the past and how you're still planning on keeping up with that." He retorts.
"She doesn't need to find out, Tom. I just have to take care of Veronica." I smile.
"And how do you plan on doing that?" Tom asks.
"Well, let's just say I know a guy that knows a guy." I grin even more, "she won't see it coming--"
My office door swiftly opens to reveal Veronica looking stunning today as much as I'd care not to admit. I was even more surprised as to why she didn't knock as she'd always done.
"Well, Good morning to you Veronica, you could have knocked before barging in like it was your father's house." I stare into her eyes, one she knows too well. She ignores my stare and places a file on my desk.
"George is also like a father to me. Besides, I wouldn't have to knock when I'm entering into our room, would I?" She asks with a snicker in her tone.
Tom ignores our conversation and walks to take a drink by the side, leaving Veronica a spare chair to place her damn ass on.
"This here," she places a finger on the file, with her other hand on her waist, "is a meeting we have with our other partners in San Francisco and is to be treated with urgency." She explains.
"Well, you're going. You represent me while I deal with other important," I lay more emphasis on the word with my eyes, fixed on her, "... matters that requires more urgency." I lay back on my chair and Veronica comes close to me and bends to my eye level.
"Make it swift and dramatic. You know how I like my things served." She whispers in my ear and I hold her chin.
"I'll make sure she knows how much of a cook I am." I smile which earns me a soft smile as she places a small kiss on my lips and runs her hands down to my groin. I grunt softly, "we can do that when you're back." I look up to her.
She turns around and walks to the door and I leave her with her words.
"Make it swift, Miss Daniels. Those hands are made for more than just holding files." and then she closes the door.
Tom walks up to my desk, handing me a glass of wine which I collect gleefully, already certain if my impending plan.
"Who's this guy you have in mind?" Tom asks, curiosity sinking in like I much desired.
I stand up and walk to the window, looking outside with the glass in my hand, "Carlos Anderson." I state firmly.
