Mira's POV, Three weeks later, “Ahh…” My eyes fluttered open as a groan slipped from my lips, a jolting pain tugging me from the darkness. My heart kicked against my ribs frantically as I discovered myself lying in a strange bed, the room scented with herbs and damp stone. “Where am I?” Fear coiled tight in my chest, my breath hitching as I slowly tried to get up from the bed. Rubbing my throbbing head a bit, I managed to glance around the room and saw it was packed with different roots and herbs sealed in glass jars on the shelves around the walls. A tattered curtain over a single window was dangling in the soft breeze and my eyes finally landed on the bedside table cluttered with vials and bandages.
