Elias's POV,
The night was almost over as I was still stuck in my study, the scent of old parchment and burning candles hitting my nose. Mira’s sudden hug had caught me totally off guard in her room back then and I still couldn’t wrap my head around it. Her touch had just opened a flood of memory in my mind and I could feel my heart burning like hell for more.
“Get hold of yourself, you stupid nuthead,” I cursed myself in my mind as I could feel I had almost lost control over myself back there.
I couldn’t just risk getting exposed in front of her like that, not yet. I was just waiting for the right time to tell her everything about my feelings and giving her time to heal from inside.
