“Mira.” Kieran’s icy cold voice made me flinch. “What are you doing here?”
Now I was totally exposed, caught in the open under Kieran’s piercing gaze. I swallowed, my words tripping over themselves. “I… I didn’t mean to intrude, Alpha. I just… I heard voices and got curious.”
