“Let me out, you bastard!” I forcefully slammed my fists against the door, the wood rattling under my palm. My knuckles started to sting but I didn’t even care for a second. “You hear me? You can’t keep me locked up like some dog!”
The guards outside didn’t even flinch. I cursed under my breath. “Damn you, Alpha Kieran. Damn all of you!” My voice sounded rough from screaming like this for three days. Alpha Kieran had kept me locked in here all this time, cut off from everyone. No visitors were allowed, except the maid who brought my food.
After a moment, I began gasping hard as I slumped against the door. “This is totally bullshit,” I muttered pressing a hand to my stomach. My baby’s heartbeat echoed in my head, strong and steady like a perfect pup.
