Chapter 5

Mira's POV,

I kicked and thrashed, trying to break free as the servants dragged me into a huge bath chamber. Before I could stop them, they took off my clothes and pushed me under the steaming water.

“Get off me, you ugly hags!” I yelled, twisting to get free.

“Stop it,” One of them snapped tightening her grip on me. “You’re only making this worse.”

“I don’t care!” My eyes burned with tears. “Please…. Just let me go.”

“Enough,” the oldest one hissed, blowing a hard slap on my face. “Consider it as your luck that you’re going to sleep with our Alpha tonight.”

They cleaned and applied fragrant lotions into my skin. As they combed and decorated my wet hair with golden pins, I felt like nothing more than a lamb waiting to be slaughtered.

The clothes they had me wear made me scream. It was barely even clothes… I might as well have been naked. A gold silk gown tied around my neck and barely covered my hips, only just hiding my n*****s and stopping above my thighs. Then, they turned me to face a full-length mirror.

“You look stunning, breeder.” one of the maids whispered. “The Alpha will be pleased tonight.”

Then they bring me down a hallway, the air carrying the scent of lavender and fresh roses. Soon they stopped in front of a huge double door. The door in front of us opened without a sound and the view of the room almost took my breath away.

The room felt so unreal. Golden chandeliers were hanging from the ceiling casting a soft golden glow over the silk drapes. There was a bed in the middle of the room that was way too big, covered with white sheets. The air felt thick with this heavy, musky scent… rich and manly.

And then he walked in.

Alpha Kieran!

"Leave."

The servants quickly bowed their heads and rushed out. Soon, their footsteps faded away one by one leaving just Kieran and me in this quiet room. I stood there silently keeping my eyes on him.

I could feel his sharp gaze sweeping over my almost naked body. For a moment, I felt like I was in a lion's den.

He took a slow step near me. "You scared of me, breeder?"

He stepped closer, his eyes scanning me. "You look better without all that dirt," he said in a low and deep voice making a shiver run down my spine.

I clenched my fists tightly, my nails digging into my sweaty palms. His deep, masculine scent hit me hard, nearly forcing me to bow in submission.

Damn! How was I supposed to ignore this pull of desire?

"Go to hell," I spat in trembling voice ignoring the pull.

He smirked ignoring my words. "Oh, little wolf," he softly said taking another step toward me. "I can do whatever I want with you."

“I’m not scared of you,” I growled back. I could feel Alpha Keiran’s face twisting in pure rage.

"Strip," Alpha Kieran snapped.

That one word was enough to break the last of me.

"Please..." The word slipped out from my lips and I instantly regretted it.

He moved toward me and grabbed my neck so roughly that my body jerked back with a sharp c***k. I bit my lip to stop myself from screaming in pain.

"Strip!"

I reached for the neck of my gown and slowly started undoing it with my shaky hands. I stood there completely undressed letting the gown fall to the floor. My hands were still trembling but I tried to stand still.

I lifted my chin, waiting for his next command with my trembling heart.

"Get on the bed."

"Why me..." I whispered ignoring his command.

I tried to hold back my sobs as I climbed onto the bed, leaning back and spreading my legs. I shut my eyes, waiting for what was next, my arms shaking just a little. Then I heard clothes rustling and his button unfasten. It didn’t take long before I felt him over my body.
