CHAP 9

Chap 9: LONELINESS

Come in…

"So there were so many things going on in the house during my aunt's absence? How are you, how are you?"

"Do you know who the culprit is?" – Aunt Daria asked eagerly.

"It seems that everyone can guess the killer, but there is still no clear evidence, ma'am," said Mr. Joe.

"Okay, it's over, let's not talk about it anymore. Everyone goes to work. Almira, you stay!" – Aunt Daria assigned everyone.

The sound of the door closing, leaving only Almira and Aunt Daria in the room:

“When the incident happened, did that person take action for you? Why are you so unprepared? I know that person is the mother, the one who gave birth to you, but baby, but being a human doesn't hurt people, but you have to have a heart for people. Maybe you can protect yourself."

"After this, you still have a long way to go. I can't protect you all day, protect you. There will come a day when you have to stand up to protect yourself, do you understand?"

Almira hugged her aunt Daria in her arms. She felt "It turns out that having a mother is so good, but outside of her father and grandmother, there are people who worry and care about her!"

Thinking and thinking, both of them were immersed in their own thoughts. Until Uncle Joe entered the room to announce that grandma had met her aunt.

"Aunt go, I'll go back to my room to do my homework. I've been absent from school these past few days, so I have to supplement my homework. Maybe I'll be happy!" – Almira said while comforting Aunt Daria .

"Thank you, auntie!" - Almira thought.

Next morning….

Kane waited in front of the gate, never saw Almira coming down, so he moved to aunt Daria 's house, aunt saw his shadow standing there and asked:

"Why don't you go to school now, but you're standing here? Do you need something? Why don't you tell auntie so I can come down?" – asked Aunt Daria..

He listened and looked around to find Almira 's figure, but he couldn't find it. He asked:

"I don't need anything, auntie, where is your beloved Almira ? I need to see that girl. I have something to say, but why can't I see her?"

“Almira , is there something wrong with you? Why did I meet him?

And you and Almira are siblings. Why do you call them so strange?" – asked the aunt.

"I don't have a sister, I'm an only child, the only child in the family" - Kane angrily left.

“Hm, I can't see anyone in the early morning, so I must have gone first! Let's go, Uncle Joe" - Kane climbed into the car to go to school.

At school….

Kavin ran speeding and entered the class. According to his habit, he searched for Almira's figure, but still couldn't find it. He was sad and worried, "If I knew that, I would ask for a way to contact him. He needed to hope and then be disappointed.” He had just finished speaking, leaning out of the classroom against the balcony, he saw Almira happily chatting with her friends. He was happy again.

"Good bye, see you again!" – Almira waved goodbye to her classmates.

"Still, long time no see!" – she was glad to see you with her friends. She invited him to eat cake. Both of them ate cake and talked.

“Why have you been absent from school for so long? Is something wrong at home? Are you okay?" Kavin asked.

“We are children, so it's okay, adults in the family. I'm just sick, so I missed school. It's okay, look, I seem to have gained a few pounds!" - she said, both of them laughing together.

Reng….reng….reng….

“Going to class!”….

While studying, he caught a glimpse of Almira – he found this friend very interesting, a bit pure but no less strong. Although he was a boy, he absorbed foreign cultures, but it seemed that he was a boy when standing next to Almira - he felt that he was much shorter..

"Goodbye!" – Almira smiled goodbye to Kavin after class.

“Today, can I go to your house to play? We are friends, I want to know where your house is?” – Kavin asked with a shy face and fear of being rejected.

"Okay, but you're not going home with your family today?" - Almira asked.

"Well, I'm going home alone today. No one's home. I don't want to leave early. Can I go to your house to play for a while?”

Almira looked at Kavin 's eyes down to her heels. She didn't want her friend to be sad, so she agreed. On the way home, the two talked happily.

"Come on. Aunt, this is my tablemate, he's Kavin" - entering the house, Almira pulled her aunt Daria 's hand to introduce her friend.

"Hello, come in and play. Don't be polite. The two of you sit down and talk, you can eat with your aunt and friends, eat and then go home."

"Yes, thank you, auntie."

Kane went home. He went straight to the small house. His mood dropped when he saw the image of Almira talking happily with other friends. He returned home.

He was upset, “why should I be sad? Help is just a request from my aunt. Why should I be eager for that child? It's really free. Studying! Calm down.Don't think too much!"

He closed the study room door. On the other hand, laughter was still heard.

At the dinner table,Kavin ate a lot. Aunt Daria , Almira and the maids did not expect that a sick person like him could eat so much:

“Ha ha ha, no one will take your rice. It's all yours!" – Almira just scooped the rice and laughed loudly.

Kavin shyly after finished listening, he immediately said: "Before, I only ate rice alone, sometimes with a maid. I had never eaten in a family of many people".

When he finished, the laughter was gone. When Almira saw this, she immediately remembered her own situation - just as lonely. Aunt Daria said, "If you like, you can come here to eat anytime you want, I always welcome you!"

Kavin secretly rejoiced and thanked everyone. This scene he had dreamed of for a long time. He had only hoped that it would not disappear in the future.
