Chap 2: REUNION

On a trip with Romane's family to Shanghai, she saw her ex-husband Conal working at a textile factory near the motel. She thought everything was handled smoothly after returning to Romane. But she did not expect that, three days later, her ex-husband, who had abandoned her daughter, appeared right in front of her in Romane. Conal tells everyone Romane:

"Since you have raised Ciara's stepchild so well, you should raise another daughter. Although she is not related by blood to the Romanes, she also has a mother. Her mother is a woman. That woman is Ciara. I can't raise it anymore, I'll just leave it here, everyone will take care of it. But remember Ciara - the other woman has to raise Almira because she's Almira's daughter."

She stood in front of Almira and said:

"Little girl, you go into the house, your father is gone but your father did not say he would not come back to pick you up. You still have a chance to see him again. If you don't come in, do you want to sit here until you die of illness? And leave you alone in this world?"

When Almira heard this, she cried and said:

"But your mother - the other lady doesn't want to accept you, your father has left you here, so what's the point of letting you live in the world, in what capacity?"

"This is it. You come in first. I don't have children and I see that we are predestined together. You will be my adopted daughter. I will stay here with you until you grow up and have enough conditions to find it again. Dad, do you agree? Here, no one bullies me or harms me. With you here, I will live even though I don't have enough, but I will have what I deserve."

Almira thought and dried her face, agreeing to follow Daria into the small house next to the big house where her mother lives. Entering the house, she felt that this place was small, but she felt this was the warmest place she had ever felt. She sat down on a corner of the bed. She was tired and fell asleep until morning.

The next morning, Daria was cooking breakfast. Almira appeared in the kitchen. Daria happily came out and put Almira's hand in it. She prepared food for Almira and asked kindly:

"What's your name? How old are you? Have you ever been to school?" Daria asked.

"I'm Almira. I'm just six years old this year. This year I'm old enough to go to school, but my dad doesn't have money, so I haven't officially gone to school. What I've learned is that my dad taught me a little bit. I took a little sneaky class from the top of the neighborhood."
