Katrina and Swoozie played together when small but drifted apart as teenagers. Teddy and Tracey felt proud of Katrina for excelling in school. She never gave them much of a problem as a baby or a little girl. Katrina loved math, and numbers turned out to be her forte. They wished they had that much confidence about Swoozie’s future.
