I watch as they carefully pick up Shane, who was still unconscious, and as quickly as we could we walked to the hospital. I was so focused on him that I didn’t at first see the mounds of people gather around the front gate.
I overhear some of the pack members whispering.
“Is it really the Royal Court?”
“I thought it was, but the Royal Crest isn’t that of the Crown Prince.”
“Oh! It’s the Royal Ambassador! But…why is he here? What do you think they want?”
