Last stop was to get the ingredients for lasagna. Hunter approved a salad and bread as well, so they were going to be full tonight. She also texted Mason to let him know she had indeed picked up the part from Darlene. She hadn’t heard back from him by the time the groceries were unloaded, so she assumed he was busy. Getting dinner in the oven and the salad in the fridge, she went out back with Hunter to spread out all the parts for the birdhouse. Mason parked, walked up to the porch at Kelly’s and rang the bell.
