Chapter Fifteen
Kelly pulled up at her house and sat in the car texting with Mason before she went inside.
Mason: What happened? Is everything okay?
Kelly: I just need to talk is all.
Mason: To me and Nate?
Kelly: Yeah, not about the same thing though.
Mason: Oh. You sure you’re okay?
Kelly: As okay as I can be.
Mason: That’s not very reassuring.
Kelly: Best I can do right now.
Mason: Okay, let me know if you need anything. I’ll see you tonight.
Kelly: I will.
