Chapter 5. - Heartbreaker

A week passed and Ed didn’t leave my thoughts. I was afraid what will happen when I meet him. I was afraid what could I do, honestly I didn’t trust myself around him. So the day came when I finally can do whatever. I called Steph and told her that I am not feeling up for going out. Instead I told her that we can go to some bar and just hang out. She agreed and before I knew it we were sitting in the bar with a glasses of margaritas in front of us.

“Have you decided?”- She asked and drank a bit-

“I really .. I “- I stopped- “Hey is that Victor over there?”

“Where?”- she asked-

“On the parking lot”- I showed her-

“Yeah it sure looks like him, lets go check out”

We drank , payed and went out. Victor was leaning on his car.

“Hey you”- I hugged him- “what are you doing here?”

“Aide”- He kissed my cheek- “I am meeting the guys, what about you two?”

“We were”- Steph started talking while I saw Eds car driving onto parking lot-

“We were actually just going home”- I interrupted Steph”- right?”- I looked at Steph-

“Yeah right”- she nodded and looked at me weird-

“Why don’t you both stay?”- He asked- “We didn’t hang out in a while”

“I.. “- I stopped looking at Ed car parking next to us- “I have stuff to do”

“Came on please”- Victor insisted-

I heard the car doors slamming.

“Aide”- Seth came behind Steph and hugged her-

“Hey”-she smiled- “don’t tell me you missed me?”

“Of course”- he smiled and kissed her- “You’re staying right?”

“I was just urging her to stay”- Victor added-

I looked at Steph who was in the middle of kiss with Seth.

“I really shouldn’t “

“Come on please”- Victor continued- “Darling tell her she needs to stay”- Seth said hugging Stephanie from behind-

“She always does the opposite so why should she listen us this time”- I heard Ed behind me-

Is he serious right now?

“You know what Victor?”- I said mad- “I think I will stay”

“Splendid”- Victor smiled-“Are we going inside?”

“Yea” – I said bewildered- „sure“

We went inside as I tend to ignore Ed. He sat next to me, of course. As we were ordering I felt his touch on my knee. What is he trying? I sighted.

“You know what I’m going to have another margarita” – I said trying to move my knee away-

“Really?”- Ed smiled-“you really want to wake up in my bad again?”

Everybody stopped talking and looked at me. I passed Ed mad look, the guy really wants to piss me off and he is very good at it.

“Think we will be needing a little more time”- Steph said to waiter-

He passed us weird looks, especially to me and went to serve the other table.

“Aide”- Victor stared at me- “You slept with Ed?”

“No”- I looked at him- “it was not like that”

“Well of course she did”- Ed put a hand around me and got closer-

“So that’s why you told me that we can be just friends”- Victor said-

“oh-uh”- Stephanie started coughing- “This is misfortunate”

“Misfortunate?”- Victor smiled sarcastically- “You all know what was happening between the two of us and now”- He got up- “I need air” – he went out-

“You”- I looked at Ed extremely pissed while getting up- “Come with me”

Ed smiled getting up.

“Wait what is happening?!”- Seth looked at me weird-

I just went out on the other side of bar, I felt Ed following me. When we were out, I couldn’t even look at him.

“What the hell?”- I asked looking at the road-

He pulled me by elbow.

“Let me go” – I slapped him-

He looked irritated.

“That felt so good” -I smiled-

“You know what would feel even better?”- he pulled me by waist and kissed me-

“You are insane”- I tried to move- “I really hate you”

“No you don’t” – He smiled-

“Why did you do it?”- I asked still trying to move- “Why would you make them believe that we slept together?”

“Is it too far from truth?”- He raised eyebrow moving the lock from my face-

“I..”- I took a deep breath- “We didn’t sleep together”

“Yet”- He started kissing my neck-“I told you we will be seeing each other”- he said in between the kisses-

I got so distracted with the kisses and forgot about the mess he put me in with my friends inside. He brought his lips on mine and put his hands on my hips.

“Hope you two aren’t killing… o my “- I heard Stephanies voice-

I pushed Ed away feeling as we are doing something wrong.

“Relax”- He whispered in my ear- “You needed something Steph?”- He turned to her-

“Actually yes”- she smiled- “ I need you two to get your asses inside so we can finely get some drinks”

“Sure”- Ed grabbed my hand- “Is Victor back?”

“Yeah he seems a bit better”- Steph looked at me- “I know you two would get together eventually”

“We “- I looked at Ed- “We aren’t”

“Stop pretending “- Steph laughed- “I caught you and also I know you both it was just a matter of time”

“She did Aide “- Ed pulled me closer- “We should just drop the act“

I rolled my eyes and went inside. They both followed, Ed grabbed my hand as we were walking towards the table. I gave him a look but he didn’t even reacted. We came to the table and sat. Victor starred at the two of us.

“So you two are a thing now?”- He asked-

“Kind off”- Ed looked at me-

I didn’t know what to say, whatever I say it would turn out wrong and I really don’t want to hurt Victor. Everyone else were being silent afraid that whatever they say will make things worse.

“I get it “- Victor said after being silent for a while-

“Really?”- Ed asked-

I hit his knee with mine.

He looked at me and smiled.

“Aide is worried, should she be?”

“No”- Victor looked at me- “I am not mad Aide, I just want you to be happy and if it is with Ed, by all means, Ed is great so “

“Victor you are the greatest friend ever”- I smiled-

“Hey hey”- Steph started protesting-

“Yea what about the rest of us?”- Seth added-

“Fine I love you all”- I laughed-

“So did we passed the drama and can finally order?”

“I don’t see why not”- Victor said cheerfully- “One more thing Ed if you dare to hurt Aide “- he gave him serious look and then busted in laugh.-

We all started to laugh. The rest of night went smoothly. Afterwards Ed drove me home.

" I am so angry at you“- I’ve said once we were in car- “we are a thing now?”- I looked at him mad- “I know nothing about you”

“What do you want to know?”

“Hmmf I don’t know… things … like..”- I looked at the mobile that was plugged into a car-“what are you listening?”

“You want to know what do I listen?”

I nodded.

“Then turn it on”- He laughed-

I turned it on and turned on the volume, some classical tune started playing.

“That’s nice”- I looked outside-

“Nice?”

“Yeah, nice what do you want me to say? I am not really into classics”

“How?”- He looked confused-“Just listen”

I relax and started listening, after some time it kind off grow on me.

“You’re right”

“Always am”- he pulled me closer and kissed me-

“Hey”- I pushed him away- “you’re nuts, were going to crash”

“We might”- he laughed- “but we will not”

I smiled rolling eyes. Soon we came to gates in front of my house.

“Meet tomorrow?”

“Why don’t you come to the studio?”- I looked at him- “I will be there in the afternoon”

“Sure”- he pulled me close and started kissing me- “Dream about me”

“You wished”- I moved away and went out of the car-

On the way to the house, I turned around and send him an aerial kiss he laughed and drove away. I went inside cheerfully. That night is the first of many that I dreamed of him.

For the next couple of weeks I spent with Ed and my friends. I was more and more attracted to Ed, and I was falling for him, hard.
