Chapter 3. - Hot and Cold

Few days past by and I didn’t get to see Ed, I also didn’t go that day with him, I spent time with Steph and Seth mostly, the two of them were inseparable these days. Mom and dad were working hard past few days so when I was not with my friends I was home alone. Steph came to my house and we hang out, we ordered pizza, watched a movie and talked. It felt nice, well at least until she mentioned the other day and what she witnessed in front of restaurant.

“Hey I didn’t say anything before but I am wondering”-she started-

“Spill it out”- I’ve said taking a cut of pizza-

“Well.. We never talked about what happened the other day in front of restaurant”

I froze-

“Aide..”- She smiled- “are you hooking up with the sexy Adonis?” – She smiled-

Sexy Adonis is how she calls Ed, when there is just the two of us.

“No”- I waved hand- “it just happened.. Once”- I stopped- “Okey twice… “

She narrowed eyes.

“Okay, fine, it happened three times”

“What?”- She got up- “Three times?”

“Yea, but calm down its nothing”

“Really three times is nothing now? Next, you’re going to say: I’ve slept with him but hey it’s nothing”- she said trying to impersonate me-

“Hey”- I hit her slowly- “I don’t talk like that, and also for your information I didn’t see him after that so..”

“But you do want to see him?”

“I don’t know, we just met”- I lowered shoulders-

“Tell me, how was it?”

“O.o no stop it “- I shook my head-

“It was that good right?”- She laughed- “He hasn't change”

"By the way you never told me how do you know him?"

"I've told you.. we had a fling, I've met him when I was in Florida"

"What does that fling includes?"

"The usual"- she lowered shoulders"

"The usual?"-I've raised eyebrows-

"That's in the past Aide .. what matters is the future and I am with Seth now-sh3 looked at me- “you seem to like him”

“I told you.. Please stop talking about him”

“Fine, but Aide..”

“What?”

“What about Victor?”- She bite her fingertip-

“Umhm .. I am not with Victor and you know it “

“I do, but I think he has some other opinion”

“I know, Ed told me lets change the subject please”

“Fine, lets go”

“Where?”- I looked at her weird-

“We are going out tonight”- she winked- “just the two of us, no Seth, no Victor and especially no Ed”

“Promise?”

“Pinkie swear, now lets get ready”

We went to my room and got music on while we were getting ready when I heard knocking.

“Come in”

Mom and dad came in.

“Hey dear”- mom looked at me- “Oh hey Stephanie”

“Hello”- Stephanie smiled-

“Are you girls going somewhere?”- Dad looked at me-

“Yup”- I nodded- “we are going out”

“Out? Again?”- Mom gave me that serious look-

“We weren’t out for days mom”- I looked at her-

“Celeste, let the girls do what they want, do you girls need anything? Money or maybe I could say the driver to drive you”

“Thanks dad”- I hugged him and kissed him on the cheek- “we could use a driver maybe, and about the money don’t worry I’ve got plenty”- I smiled-

“Then we won’t bother you anymore”- he looked at mom- “I will tell the driver in half of hour is that okay?”

“Perfect”

“Thank you mister Tamiel”

“No worries and Aide..”

“Be careful?”- I asked-

“Yes”- he smiled and went out with mom-

“You parents are great”- Steph said when they left-

“Yes they are “- I smiled-

We continued getting ready, Steph put on a gorgeous shiny nude tight dress with stilettos while I was wearing tight white dress on one-shoulder and black heels. We went out and the driver drove us to the club. We ordered shots and drank while dancing. As we started to get drunk, I noticed side stares. I turned around only to see Victor so I pulled Steph on the side.

“We said no Victor”

“Yes, we did”- she laughed clearly drunk- “so why are you mentioning him?”

“Wait you didn’t call him?”- I asked surprised-

“No, why would I call him.. Come on lets have fun”- she pulled my hand-

“Steph.. He is here”

“Wait what?”- She smiled- “no he is not lets go dance”

“No really… “- I pulled her back- “He is”

“He is?”- She looked around- “I don’t see him”

“Don’t see who?”- Victor came and hugged her- “surprise”

“Hey there “- Steph hugged him- “what are you doing here?”

“We went out”- he smiled- “How about you two?”

“We?”- I asked looking at him-

“Yes, we”- Ed showed up behind him followed by Seth-

I shoot a look at Steph but she was already hugging Seth, I will get no help from her tonight. I sat down in the booth. Victor came and sat next to me.

“I haven’t seen you in days, where were you?”

“Here and there”- I quickly drank my drink and started pouring more-

“Aide”- he got close to me and whispered in my ear- “I miss you”

I felt Ed looking at us, and it kind of felt uncomfortable.

“Look I..”- I turned to him to whisper in his ear but he got the wrong message and pulled me in for a kiss. –

I kissed him still feeling Ed looking us and then moved a bit away.

“Hey”- I whispered- “can we go out for a bit”

“Yeah, sure”- he got up and give me a hand-

I took his hand and we walked out. When we were out I leaned on the wall.

“So ..”- He moved closer to me-

“No Victor”- I looked at him- “I wanted to talk to you without others looking at us”

“What happened darling?”- He looked at me-

“You are sweet, and I really like you…”

“This doesn’t sound good”- he said interrupting me-

“Look I hope you know, this between us, it’s just friendship and purely physical.”- I stopped- “We are not together or anything”

He looked disappointed.

“I know but we feel so good together so why not make it official?”- He asked-

“Look”- I took a deep breath- “I am not the person for relationship and you know it. I thought we were on the same page here”

“Yeah”- he nodded- “we are, we are”

“So no hard feelings?” – I’ve asked –

“No way, you know I love you silly”- he hugged me-

“I know but I had to make it clear”- I kissed his cheek- “Lets go back”

“Maybe”- he looked at me worried- “we could stay a bit and hook-up”

“Not tonight”- I playfully hit him on the shoulder- “is that the only thing on your mind?”

“Well pretty much”- he laughed- “at least when we are talking about you”

“O charmer”- I went inside laughing-

Victor didn’t follow me, I went to the booth and found Ed there with three random chicks.

“Already back?”- He checked me out- “though he might had taking you to some hotel or something”

Did he just said that? What is the matter with him? The chicks started laughing and I had a sudden mood change, I felt anger, deep anger.. I came to the table and took a filled glass.

“Asshole”- I spilled the drink in his face and stormed to the bathroom-

What was I thinking the other day talking with him, thinking about him? He is the worst, I looked in the mirror angry, how could he? Moreover, standing over there with not one but three girl, doesn’t he feel shame? I felt the need to run, or to break something, or someone.. not someone, him. I felt such a need to break his face. Nobody in my life has ever been so rude to me. He is such an ass, a hot ass, but an ass. No, I will not run this time, I will not give him that satisfaction. What was I thinking turning Victor down? I did it because I was uncomfortable because I foolishly though that maybe that kiss the other day meant something to him but clearly, it didn’t. I took deep breath. Calm down Aide, you are not the violent person, you will not do anything to him, just breathe- I kept repeating to myself. I am not a coward either, so I am not going to run. Why do I even care? I shouldn’t even think about him... I will not fall for him, no way. I took a few more breathes and then went out. I started walking to the booth, when someone pulled me. I didn’t even get to react I was between wall and Ed, his hands were on my waist.

“What do you want?”- I looked at him angry-

“You spilled me”- he said looking amused-

“You asked for it”- I put my hands on his trying to set me free-

“I was just joking”- he said not moving hands-

“Nice joke let me go or I swear I’ll scream”

“Please do”- He laughed-

“You asked for it “

I was so pissed and ready to do just about anything to move away from him so I went for it and started screaming. I didn’t even started when he started kissing me, his hands moved up and down my body. Firstly, I tried to resist him and to push him away but somehow even though, I really wanted to punch him right now, my hands found his hair and I started pulling him closer. Finally, when we both run out of breath he removed his lips from mine but his hands were still were they were before and my hands were in his hair.

“I really hate you”- I’ve said-

“Yeah” – He smiled- “I’ve seen”

I moved my hand from his hair to his chest and left it there for a while just looking at him and breathing, when I came to my senses I pushed him away thinking about moving away from him.

“Where are you going now?”- He pulled me by my elbow-

“I’ve meant what I said” – I licked my lower lip- “you are something Ed”

I smiled and went to the dancefloor. On the dancefloor I’ve found Steph with Seth and joined them dancing, soon after Victor came and I left Steph and Seth and went dancing with Victor. Every now and then some waiter would pass and I took a shoot every time. Not much time passed and I was severely drunk. Next I knew I was kissing Victor.

“Darling, you said..” –Victor started-

“Forget it …” – I’ve interrupted him-

“But..”- He continued-

“Shh”- I put my finger on his lips-

Suddenly I felt different hands on my hips. I turned around only to see Ed.

“I’ve got this Victor”- he said looking at me-

“She is way drunk”- Victor said-

“No worries, I got it under control”- Ed smiled-

Victor probably left because I didn’t hear him anymore.

“You got nothing dude”- I laughed trying to push him-

“Aide”- he pulled me close and whispered in my ear- “Stop embarrassing yourself”

“Embarrassing?”- I stepped on his foot- “you are the one embarrassing, you can’t stop drooling over me”

“Cocky much?”-He smirked-

“Just shut up”-I pulled him close and started kissing him-

Everything started to spin around me and that’s the last thing I remember.
