That was the moon goddess visiting us to give us more information on our destiny i guess you could call it, i explained to darius. Darius looks at us in shock and awe. you two must be something special if you got a visit from the moon goddess. Yes well, wolves like ours haven't been seen for at least 1000 years. he looks at us like we conjoined at the hip with five heads. you mean the myths about the moon child and her demon dog are true, he exclaimed. xander let out a loud deep growl, I AM A HELLHOUND, not a demon dog so don't call me that or i will murder you where we stand and you can once again be reunited with your parents. Xander, i yell at him. stop that isn't very nice. well, Jenna i am just tired of everyone calling me that.. Darius puts his hands up in submission, bows, and bares his neck to xander. look man over the last few months we have been together i feel like we have grown very close. I didn't mean anything by it, i am sorry ok. Xander nods his head, i am sorry to Darius you are right we are friends i see you more like family than anything like a brother. I just have been called that all my life, and in a negative way. people feared and hated me for what i was even though in my mind nothing about me had changed. I just looked different from everyone else. they give each other a bro hug and pat backs. ok, you two let's get some sleep, Jenna says. we are about a week and a half away from xanders cabin, and then still another week from there to my pack lands. they both nod and we all fall asleep.

we head out the next morning on our journey to xanders cabin we had planned to spend a few days there to unwind and relax before we make the last trek to home. "home" is all i could think about my pack, my family, and friends. oh gosh, the twins are two now, i have missed a whole year of them growing up. and the misery the last year my parents must have been through mourning my death. suddenly i feel an arm around my shoulder, jenna what's wrong i can feel your sadness radiating off of you. I'm ok xander, i say i was just thinking about all of the stuff i have missed in my pack this last year, that's a long time to be away. xanders head drops at my words and i can feel his sadness. oh xander, i am sorry i forgot you have been away from your family and pack even longer than me. what family Jenna i have no one, he says with a little acid in his tone. xander that's not true you have two sisters who i am sure love you dearly. Jenna i haven't seen them since they were 1 they don't even know who i am anymore. i am sure that's not true, i say to him. family can never forget family.

before we know it we are reaching the clearing to Xander's house. as we are approaching xander and darius both stop and loud growls erupt from both of them, as they both step in front of me. and then I smell them, my parents. I push past xander and darius shifting and running full force towards the cabin. before i know it another light blonde wolf with hazel eyes comes out of nowhere, growling loudly and standing her ground. she looked thin and a little worse for wear. i lunged at her and tackled her to the ground as she is clawing at my stomach with her hind legs i bite into her neck, she yelps and uses her legs to throw me from her. i stand immediately ready to go again, but she just lays down in submission and shifts back to her human form. As i see her frail and thin body i realized that this wolf was no other than my friend and future beta eve. i immediately shift back to and throw on some clothes from my pack and hand her some also. eve what are you doing out here i question, but before she has time to answer i hear two little voices i hadn't heard in forever running from the cabin. Jen-Jen as i turn to look i see the twins running up to me, they leap into my arms. i turn back to eve with a look of shock on my face.

Eve starts to explain everything that went down from the time i was gone. well, jenna your father and mother sent out search parties after we realized you were missing. your parents were shocked that you would have left the pack lands without an escort. and while you jumped down from the cliff into the rogue territory. the pack trackers followed your sent here. we visited the cabin frequently hoping we would eventually find you here, kill the rogue who had taken you hostage. because the trackers could smell their sent too. at this point xander and darius both started approaching us slowly. suddenly eve shoved me to the side and stepped in front of me, back off rogue!! Xander growled at her. suddenly out of nowhere a large grey wolf come out of the bushes tackling Xander to the ground. i watched in horror as this wolf who i recognized as my father instantly due to the black streak down his back. before i could register what had even happened xander and darius both shifted into bloodthirst and Artemis growling. I set the twins down and immediately ran in between them. stop this now, i shout and though i didn't realize i had used my alpha tone i didn't even know i had yet since i technically wasn't actually an alpha. everyone but bloodthirst whimpered and submitted to my will. looking at my father confused as to why even he an alpha submitted to a soon-to-be alpha. bloodthirst was still pissed he was attacked unprovoked in what he considered his territory as it was his cabin they were staying in which i was still confused as to why my father, the twins, and my best friend were out in rouge territory staying in xandres cabin. shift now father, i commanded and he did instantly.

after everyone was shifted and clothed, i began the story that started this whole journey a year ago. So lance was behind this whole thing eve grows as i finish how i ended up here and what took place in the days after my arrival at xanders cabin. looking at eve confused by what she meant by lance was behind the whole thing, she and my father begin the story of why they were not in pack territory. turns out not only did lance get me out of the picture but after the search party had ended and everyone accepted that their future alpha was dead. my father had decided to award the position to eve and her mate Gemini. turns out lance at some point had made friends with a rogue pack and one day while he was on patrol he let the rogues and their alpha mavis into the territory and my whole pack was caught off guard and many of them were slaughtered. however, my father had managed to get the twins and escape with eve, with the help of his beta Remus. unfortunately, it all happened so fast that my mother and neither of eves parents were able to escape, and the members of my pack that wasn't killed were made to be slaves in the pack and if they didnt obey the rogue alpha they would be sentencing to a horrible death. my mother and Gemini(eves mate) are still alive due to the mate bond. unfortunately due to that same bond, they could also feel when their mates were been abused. after they finish telling us the story i can feel the heat radiating off of xander, i grab his arm calm down xander so you don't lose control. i can't help it Jenna this rogue alpha they keep talking about is my uncle mavis, so that means that the rogue pack that took over yours is my pack the blood moon pack. my father growls loudly you mean to tell me, rogue, that your uncle and pack are behind all this i am going to kill you as he lunges at xander, father no. i scream. i can feel xandres anger and i know what is about to happen so i concentrate on my father about that time xander brings his flamming hand up and releases a fireball from his palm striking my father in the chest throwing him into the dirt. i take this time to immediately step in front of xander touching his chest to calm him. as my father picks himself out of the dirt from a blow that should have killed him shocked i turn to him, father if you or anyone else chooses to attack my mate again i will not stop him from killing you. eve runs to my father alpha are you ok, what just happened how did he use fire. Darius laughing behind us. because little girl all the myths and fairy tales we were told as children are true. as he waves his hand a gust of air shoots out blowing them back a little further for safe distance, so i wasn't hurt in case my father was dumb enough to attack again. alpha, eve says what is he talking about. my father looks at xander, demon dog he shouts only angering xander more, you will not have my daughter. i turn to my father, stop this now, i command. Jenna i can't believe you would side with this traitor his uncle took over our pack and turned them to his slaves. stop father right now, xander had nothing to do with this he was exiled by that same asshole uncle at the age of 15 when he was orphaned by his own uncle's hands so he wants him dead as much as you do. matter of fact he is the one who is going to do it and take his rightful place as alpha of the blood moon pack. and when that happens we will join our packs together and rule them as one. the alpha princess and her rogue prince. i exclaim. xander smiles behind me as he wraps his arms around me and sticks his face in the crook of my neck smelling my scent and calming himself even more. my father nods understandably and stands up and reaches up to shake xanders hand with a smile. I am sorry for not hearing your side before attacking you. Welcome to the family son, if my daughter trust and respects you so do i. we all enter the cabin to eat some food, get some much-needed rest, and come up with a plan to take back mine and xanders pack.
