6 MONTHS LATER.....
we had been here for a year and a half now training with Damien and today was the day that he would tell us that there wasn't any more that he could possibly teach us. that the rest would be up to us to continue practicing on our own and enhancing our technique. As I and Xander were packed and set to leave the next day. we heard a knock at our bedroom door. who is Xander calls out? It's Darius is everyone decent can i come in. xander looks at me and i nod my head. come in. Darius opens the door and pulls up a nearby chair. so i don't think i am going to start looking for the rogues right away. i have come to the realization that it's hard to tell where these rogues are at the moment or how many they even have with them now. there were at least ten of them at the time my family was murdered. so i need time to ask around and see if anyone knows anything and get people's help. unfortunately, this isn't something i can do on my own. so i was wondering jenny you had mentioned your pack might help me and my cause so i thought for now maybe i could just go with you guys to see if your father will say yes before i go off trying to exact my revenge.
i hear xander growl as he hears Dairus's new nickname. that sounds great Darius you are more than welcomed to come if it's ok with xander to of course. Darius you are welcomed to tag along if you like but her name is Jenna and she is to one day going to be alpha to her pack and the luna to my pack when i take it back that is so you will not call her by any nickname only i am allowed to call her by anything other then her name. got it. his voice is gruff and harsh. don't be fooled over that last six months Darius and xander had gotten pretty close though they did bicker alot sometimes. especially when it came to me. xander and his wolf were both very possessive of me, but of course, this is pretty natural especially in a newly developed mate bond. ok, xander i got it, darius sounded annoyed.
the next day we said goodbye to Daimen and he told us to come visit him anytime for anything and we set off on our adventure to my pack. we walked for what seemed like forever it seemed longer than it did when we came here, but we finally reached the clearing where the little pond was where I and xander spent the night, and like before we decided to rest her for the night. Let's all shift and run and hunt for some food Darius said. that sounds like a great idea xander and i say. we all shift at the same time xanders black wolf with red eyes, my white wolf with blue eyes, and Darius chocolate wolf with golden eyes. and we took off running through the forest. suddenly we all came to a halt and sniffed the air. we all smelled it is was a dear a buck at that. sure enough, he stepped out where we coud see him. immediately bloodthirst and Artemis both bound after the deer to see who got the kill first. i swear everything with them to is competition luna thinks to herself as she shakes her head taking off after the boys. by the time i catch up to them Bloodthirst is in mid-air lunging at the deer and in the blink of an eye is on top of it sinking his teeth into its neck as it falls to the ground instantly from his weight alone.
i love watching my mate, it was like he had perfected everything, and it was amazing how regal he was about it. i ran up ahead of Artemis who was sulking that bloodthirst had got the kill before he was able to, suck it up Artemis you will get it next time. yeah, right bloodthirst mocked and Artemis growled. that is enough you too. shut up and eat. luna barks at them. we finally finish eating and make our way back to the pond and dive in to swim and bit and clean our fur. once we are done xander shifts back long enough to build a fire then we all lay by the fire in our wolf forms to settle into sleep, I love sleeping in this form better than human form. but before we get a chance to the full moon was at the highest point in the sky. and there like before the moon goddess had appeared on the lake.
Twin flames i see you have completed your training and from what i heard you excelled at it, and what do we have here she says as she looks over at Artemis who doesn't know what to think right now since he has never seen such a thing. i see you are bringing an aire elemental to your cause, he will be of good use in the future. along with a few others, you haven't met yet but don't worry you will meet them along the way, and i will explain more when the time comes. as for now know this you too will have a lot of trails to come. some that might rip you apart, we shall see. they always say only the strong survive. will you uphold the test of time? until we met again.
me and bloodthirst both shifted back to our human forms looking at each other with shocked faces once we were jenna and xander again. what do you think she meant Xander. i don't know but i hate that she is so cryptic. i mean what the hell, just come out and say what's going to happen so we can make a plan for it. i feel his anger radiating from him. i grab his arm and can feel him instantly calming. xander you know she can't actually give us the future she is not allowed to alter our paths. she can only give us hints so we aren't caught off total guard. we now know stuff is going to happen we just don't know where or when, but no matter what we will make it through we have to. I looked up at Xander with tears in my eyes. I wonder who these others are we are supposed to meet along the way, I wonder if they will have special abilities too, xander shrugged.
what was that!! we heard darius exclaim. we both looked at him and just laughed.
