I and eve are sitting out by the pond watching the twins play as we talk. so jenna are you sure you and xander are actually mates and he didn't just force you into a mate bond? He is a rogue after all. Eve stop now, yes he is my mate i scented him out on that rigid days before lance pushed me from the ledge. actually, he was the reason i was there the day lance pushed me i was looking for him again, and i wasn't too fond of the idea of being mated to a rogue either, but then he explained things to me he didn't choose to be rogue if was forced upon him and he was just a teen. yeah, but jenna how do you know he is telling you the truth? i can just tell eve it was hard for him to talk about, he thinks his uncle has something to do with his father's death because he was mad that his twin got the alpha position and not him. this all happened before he was born. after his father's death, his uncle was next in line he demoted his mother and grandma and sent them to live with the omegas. after he was born his uncle used his mother as his own personal packhouse slave and also used his alpha command to have s*x with her whenever he wanted, resulting in her getting pregnant she had twin girls who are probably about five years old by now. up until they were one they lived with them until his uncle's wife found out about them and forced her husband to chose to kill the twins or bring them back to live with them in the packhouse to be raised as hers. when xander was 10 his mom couldn't bare to live without her mate and watching her children grow and be raised by another female, she took her own life. he continued living with his grandmother under the stipulation that neither one of them spoke of twins and who their true mother was. when he was 15 his grandmother died leaving him completely orphaned he also shifted early and everyone was afraid of his wolf because he looked exactly like the demon dogs from the myths, by the way, he hates being called that so please don't say it. His proper name is a hell hound and it allows him the ability to wield fire, and i know i am truly his mate because i am the so-called moon child from the myths. eve looks at me shocked that's why your wolf looks the way she does. i nod my head. she squeals and hugs me tightly, ok jenna i will trust him if you do. so who is the other guy, oh that's darius he is an aire elemental wolf. wait, what? she shouts i didn't know they existed either, yes i know it seems they weren't just fairy tales after all eve. suddenly the twins shout happily and ran towards xander and darius who were walking up to us. xandy, xandy they shout excitedly and jumped into his arms. i love how sweet and gentle he is with them, it makes me happy to know one day when we have children that he will a great father. my father joins us, so xander has been feeling me in on everything, i assumed the first time you shifted that the legends were true. i had been talking about this to the elders when you went missing. xander growl softly under his breath i am going to kill lance too, for his crimes against his future alpha and his traitorous actions to his current alpha. my dad pats him on the shoulder i like this one jenna i really do. let's come up with a plan to get our lands back and make that bastard pay. we are going to need a little help i will wait for the full moon and solis to come and deliver a message to remus to prepare everyone, it's too dangerous to mind link it all. i look at my father shocked you can see and talk to solis also father? yes, she appeared to me one night while we were here. why didn't she tell you that i was alive then, because jenna you know she can't give a direct line to the future that might alter our courses. she can only talk in rhymes it is up to you to interpret it how you will use it to carve your path. ok well, that's in two days we better come up with something. here is what i am thinking we come in near the daisy fields because that is near the cliffs and the easiest way into the territory undetected from there we can sneak into the forest and start merking people. It's done then that's the plan.

Later that evening while sitting by the lake with xander, he tells me that he and darius have been talking and he has decided that what of his pack members make it out of this alive, that they will help darius hunt down these rogues because he was going to make it his personal goal to wipe any bad or evil rogue off the earth. he also informed me that he was going to make Darius his beta because a beta is someone that you have to trust and have a kinship with and he felt that in darius. So, jenna when we decide to unite our packs he will be our beta. i look at him with a frown on my face, look xander I'm glad you want to make darius your beta and i think it's an excellent idea, but eve is my beta, not darius and she will remain my beta. but jenna, he protests two betas in a pack have never been heard of, i know xander but there has never been two alphas of a pack before either, nor a female and male alpha/beta duo. we will figure it out and make it work. well see jenna i thought when we combined our packs i would be more the alpha and you would be more like my luna, with darius as my beta, and maybe eve can be our gamma and future head warrior trainer since that's what her father does. no xander. i shout i will be alpha of my pack! and if that means us being together and somehow running two separate packs then so be it, i get up and walk off pissed off.

(xanders pov)

as i expected jenna didn't take my idea very well. i just didn't like the idea of us having a female beta. it would make the pack look weak, we were already going to look disorganized with two alphas it was unheard of, then i remembered something solis had said about we were going to hit bumps in the road that would make us or break us and i felt that this was one of those things. but right now we had to get our packs back first so there was no point in pushing this matter any further till we had a pack to even fight about. i layed back on the cool ground staring up and the night sky. when darius can over and sit next to me. i take she didn't take the news very well, huh. no dude she didn't, i say. he looks at me and says i don't know why its so important to you to keep everything so traditional. I mean you aren't even a traditional were dude, you are special and different so maybe times need to change and evolve. i thought about what darius says he is right. you are right dude, but i just cant see having a female in a leadership position let alone two. that's kinda sexist don't you think xander? you really think jenna is going to ever fully submit to you, if you do your nuts, she is special just like you and an alpha who has been raised alpha not put in her place because she is a female all her life. do you actually think she is going to let you now? he laughs as he gets up and walks away. i smirk to myself he is right since the day i have meet her she has been way more dominant than any other she-wolf i met, and truthfully i didn't hate it. I leave to go find jenna but see she is having catch-up time with her friend and beta eve,god i cant believe i am even saying that word. I smirk and decide to shift and scout out the lands since things have changed.
