Chapter One: The Dragon and His Witch
A sharp knock echoed through the darkened room. A meek voice ordered the person outside to enter before breaking into a fit of coughs.
There was some shuffling of fabric on the marble floor as three palace maids scurried inside, placing themselves near the edge of the regal bed made with four bed posts and velvet canopy.
