Prologue – The Hollow School
Years ago in Minutegel, young Benno (Benson) witnesses his school's lights repeatedly flicker. Every flicker causes another student or teacher to mysteriously disappear, though no one seems to notice. After visiting the restroom, Benno returns to find the entire school empty. He flees home in terror, and police later search the school but never find a single person. The mystery haunts Benno for the rest of his life.

Chapter 1 – Heroes of Old Yorn
Years later, Mason, Emma, Noah, and Chloe are introduced. They are close friends who spend every weekend together while their parents are away. During a normal school day, a mysterious fire suddenly breaks out. Instead of escaping, the four risk their lives to rescue everyone and successfully put out the fire. They become local heroes. During the celebration, Emma sees a little girl holding a sign that reads, "Saved others' lives... to ruin yours." When she points the girl out, she has vanished.

Chapter 2 – The Neighbor
Mason and his parents visit their neighbor, Benno, bringing him cookies and milk. After hearing Mason helped save the school, Benno becomes interested. He tells Mason about the disappearance of his entire school years ago and explains that similar disappearances are happening again. He also briefly mentions a missing girl named Lila Richards. Before leaving, Benno suggests they stay in contact.

The five barely survive and are attacked by a twisted creature before seeing a mysterious smiling child watching them from the shore.

Inside he is attacked by Alyssa before uncovering records showing only two survivors from the school disappearance: himself and a boy named Say Faral. A hidden bomb explodes, injuring Benno.

Recovering in Old Yorn, Benno researches Say Faral. He learns that Say lost two families to criminals before murdering fellow orphans. In one old photograph, Benno notices Say already wearing the black jacket, gray shirt, and black jeans. He realizes Say may be connected to everything.

Chapter 9 – Revelation
The group visits Benno's parents for answers. Suddenly, a giant claw attacks, fatally wounding them. A mysterious child appears and finally reveals himself as Say. He admits he has been behind the disappearances and threatens the heroes. Benno strikes him with a crowbar and secretly collects a sample of his blood before Say escapes.

Riots erupt across Old Yorn as people demand answers. Say transforms into his monstrous Figure form and slaughters civilians. Benno and the children escape to an abandoned laboratory, which becomes their headquarters. Benno explains Say's four forms: The Scary, The Child, The Figure, and The Face.

Chapter 11 – Return to Dandelage
After preparing for a week, the group drives to Dandelage. Benno experiences disturbing flashbacks as they enter Say's house. Bookshelves trap them inside, forcing them through hidden rooms, puzzles, and locked doors before they discover an abandoned mental asylum beneath the house.

Chapter 12 – Matity-X
Inside the asylum, the group collapses under terrifying hallucinations. A white-masked figure named Matity-X forces them to relive painful memories until Mason snaps everyone back to reality. They escape just as Say lifts the entire mountain—house and asylum included—into the sky.

Chapter 13 – The Floating Fortress
The floating mountain heads toward Old Yorn. The group travels through the sewers to reach the town before Say does. They discover he has transformed the floating asylum into a fortress, filling it with possessed victims.

Chapter 14 – The Face
Climbing the fortress, the heroes battle Say through all his forms before he transforms into his true form, The Face. Their weapons fail, Noah is thrown through a window, and the others become trapped. Mason notices the laboratory's sprinklers, and Benno realizes the pipes contain acid instead of water. The sprinklers activate, burning Say as he falls into the collapsing fortress. The building explodes, apparently defeating him.

Epilogue – London Bridge
Noah survives. The children reunite with their families while Benno buries his parents. Everyone believes the nightmare has ended. Deep beneath the ruins, however, Say still lives. Burned and barely breathing, he quietly sings, "London Bridge Is Falling Down," hinting that his story is far from over.
