Zhi Hao stepped out of the spatial vortex, his eyes fixed on the Tree he had entered from before. A sense of familiarity came over him, but the sight he witnessed made him frown slightly.
"This is the Tree I entered before," he muttered, his eyes fixed on the traces of blood and bones of two people lying on the ground. "Are they the two people who wanted to kill me before? But that's impossible, hasn't a year and a half already passed?"
Confused, Zhi Hao ignored the questions that were gnawing at his mind. He is more interested in the changes that occur in him. "Who knows how the Zhi Clan is doing now. Would father be surprised to see that I can have the strength of the third stage of the Earth Realm now?" a smile spread across his face, imagining how he would tell all his experiences.
"The city of Linggau doesn't seem to have changed a bit," he muttered again, continuing towards the city center.
Zhi Hao's eyes met Xiao Lui, who was also walking on the street. Xiao Lui smiled, but the smile felt cynical in Zhi Hao's eyes.
"Oh the city trash Linggau is finally back after being missing for two days. I thought he was going to die in the forest!" Xiao Lui's words were loud, harsh and full of mockery.

“What useless trash of the Zhi Clan!” they whispered, filled with disdain.
Even though Zhi Hao was a little confused as to why Xiao Lui said that he had been missing for two days, he had to say something first, "Aren't you just a slave of the Xiao Clan who claims to have the blood of that Clan? Don't these people know the story of you as a child?" Zhi Hao replied calmly, but his words were sharp like a knife. He smiled, feeling satisfied after venting his pent-up frustration.
"You..." Xiao Lui gasped, not expecting to hear such words from Zhi Hao. He felt insulted, but he couldn't argue. but he felt quite strange, why did Zhi Hao dare to say that sentence, wasn't he afraid of being beaten?
The wind rustled through the bamboo forest, rustling the leaves like a secret whisper. Under the canopy of the sky, two figures stood locked in silent confrontation. Xiao Lui, his face scrunched up with anger, glared at Zhi Hao.
Two days ago, Zhi Hao was just a timid boy. Now, he stood tall, his eyes sparkling with an arrogance that gave Xiao Lui the creeps.
"I don't know what you're possessed with to dare say something like that to me," Xiao Lui spat, his voice filled with venom. "It seems like the previous lesson wasn't enough for you. Alright, I'll call Sis Xiao Bai, let her teach you another lesson."
Zhi Hao just grinned, a cruel glance on his lips. "A dog is still a dog, he will bark, then complain to his master."
Those words, dripping with contempt, pierced Xiao Lui like a poisoned arrow. He never imagined Zhi Hao would dare speak to him with such low respect.
The change in Zhi Hao is profound, not only in his physical appearance – his once slender body is now carved with muscle, his face hardened with an almost predatory intensity – but also in the very essence of who he is.
a wave of anger flooded Xiao Lui, threatening to devour him. He raised his hand, the hilt of his sword glinting in the penetrating sunlight. But before he could attack, Zhi Hao turned around and started walking away.
"Where do you go?" xiao Lui roared, his voice echoing through the forest.
"Going home," Zhi Hao answered without turning around. "I don't have time for children's games."
Xiao Lui's anger exploded. He lunged forward, his sword flashing in a deadly arc. He had to test Zhi Hao, to see if the boy's changes were real or just pretend.
Zhi Hao didn't even twitch when Xiao Lui's attack came. He simply raised his hand, fingers spread, and with a quick flick of his wrist, deflected the blade. The force of the blow sent Xiao Lui stumbling backwards, his eyes wide with disbelief.
"Can you absorb energy yet?" he panted, his voice filled with a mixture of awe and fear.
Zhi Hao chuckled, the voice low and threatening. "You're too slow, Xiao LuiYou're still stuck in the past, while I've moved forward."
Those words were like a slap in the face. Xiao Lui had been so focused on punishing Zhi Hao for his hatred that he had forgotten about Cultivating. Zhi Hao had surpassed him, leaving him behind in the dust.
The realization hit Xiao Lui like a physical blow.
Xiao Lui, with a wild gaze and hands gripping a sword, lunged at Zhi Hao. "f**k, bastard, don't move, let me chop you up!" he shouted, his voice shaking with anger.
Zhi Hao, calmly, lifted his feet. a simple movement, but exuding an unfathomable hidden power.
Swoosh!
The wind rustled, bringing with it a bone-chilling cold aura.
Bam!
Xiao Lui's body bounced, floating in the air for several seconds before hitting a pile of merchants' goods.
Kach!
Blood spurted from his mouth.
Xiao Lui held his chest which felt crushed. It felt like a big rock the size of a house had just hit me.
"Damn, he's so strong. I have to go, tell Brother Bai immediately," he muttered, pulling his legs and running as hard as he could.
"I won't chase you, because you will definitely come too," said Zhi Hao, his voice calm and full of confidence.
Xiao Lui gasped for breath, pain radiating throughout his body. He staggered, trying to find a place to hide. “Brother Bai, please,” he mumbled, his eyes closed.
Seeing that he was not being chased by Zhi Hao, Xiao Lui felt relieved and he took a breath, wiping away the remaining blood on his mouth.
He walked still holding his chest towards an inn. He knew that Xiao Bai was spending the night there.
"Brother Bai! Help me." Xiao Lui knocked on the door of the room.
Xiao Bai who had finished his struggle with two women. "Who the hell, luckily I've finished, otherwise I could have killed the annoying person," he muttered irritably. "Open the door for me." He gave orders to the woman beside him.
One of the women was peeling an apple, while the other stood up to see who was interrupting their time.
When the door opened, Xiao Lui immediately jumped in and sat on the floor. "Brother Bai Help me, avenge me."
