Dawn POV:
Ace carried me into his room and sat me on the bed carefully.
His face looked tight, deep in concentration.
“So that son of a b*tch really tried to bite you.” Ace said, pacing back and forth.
He was shaking and his eyes were pitch black.
I knew Felix had taken over.
“Felix, it’s okay. I’m here, I’m safe, I’m alive. He didn’t get me.” I assured him
“How dare he want what’s mine.” He growled.
“He won’t have me. I’m here with you. You have me. I’m yours.” I said, surprising myself.
Felix paced back and forth until he registered what I just said.
He ran over to me, and lifted me off the bed in a hug.
“Can I have Ace back now?”
Felix growled, and then I looked to see his eyes change back to green.
