Ace POV:
As we approached the lake we could see several vehicles lining the road.
We pulled over and parked.
Dawn called her father and let him know that she was here and that she has some new friends helping out.
Then we walked over to the scene of the crime. I could smell Alistair’s blood that had trickled down into the rocks.
Things weren’t looking good for Alistair. Thankfully one of the best trackers in my pack was coming as part of our guard.
I saw a tall Italian looking man walking through the trees towards us.
“You made it kiddo!” The man said as he reached over and grabbed Dawn into a hug.
“Ace, this is my dad.” Dawn said as she tried to wiggle free.
“Ace, this is your new friend?”The man said
“Yes dad, this is Ace, a new friend. He volunteered to come help.” Dawn said.
