“Grandma!”
Levi ran from his classroom and immediately greeted his grandmother who was waiting for him at the door. She smiled gently at her grandson and hugged him lovingly.
“Where is Aunt Brynlee? Why did Grandma come here?”
"You don't like meeting Grandma?" Cassandra pretended to pout.
Levi grimaced, “Aunt Brynlee always picks me up lately, so I thought she would pick me up again today. Where's Aunt Brynlee?"
Levi still expected Brynlee's presence around the schoolyard. His eyes actively scrolled left and right to find Brynlee's figure that might be hidden among the pickers who were waiting for their children in the schoolyard.
“She can't pick you up today. She has important business."
