“If only I had known—” Brynlee mumbled as she unbuckled her seatbelt. “—I would bring some packed lunches.”
When she stepped her feet on the ground, she was greeted with the cool air of late summer. She closed her eyes for a moment, enjoying the dry summer air before it turned into a freezing cold wind.
"They've been waiting for us. Come on."
Elyseen's voice broke the calm. She pursed her lips behind Elyseen and followed him towards Levi and Elyseen’s parents. Levi waved his hand enthusiastically at her.
“Aunt Brynlee!” shouted the boy loudly.
Elyseen grinned at Brynlee and Levi's enthusiasm. They hugged and Brynlee picked up Levi before spinning him in the air.
"We're going to have fun," Brynlee exclaimed with joy
