While she was watering some of her plants in the restaurant, an SUV suddenly stopped outside the restaurant's gates. Brynlee frowned. She was sure it wasn't a customer because her new restaurant wouldn't be open at least an hour away. Even though the gate had been opened wide, the closed sign was still hanging in front of the door.
“Aunt Brynlee!”
Brynlee turned off the faucet and left the hose on the wet ground. She walked over to Levi, who had just gotten out of the car, helped by his father.
“Hey, I didn't expect you guys to come this early. I thought you would sleep a little longer because you were tired after yesterday's adventure.”
