I landed with a thump right on my chin. I was just walking past. Right in front of Alpha Jake too. But he said nothing & then stormed off. So clearly Stacey and her reign as Luna is going to be hell if he’s going o allow that to happen. O goddess where do I go… could I run that far?! I doubt I’ll get my wolf. I’m a low level omega. So it would all be on foot. I finished all my work & went to bed. Maybe I’ll dream an idea up.

3AM I was woken up by footsteps outside my door. I live in the basement, it’s my own space and I love it… But no one comes down here. I start feeling nervous, could this be Stacey or one of her gang. Have they finally found my safe space. O goddess no. I held my breath, pulled the covers up over my head and didn’t move.

Jake

I couldn’t sleep. I had to go and see this omega. What was so special about her. Why did the goddess give her to me. It’s not like she could rule or be of any worth. She will be on one of the omega floors I’ll just go and have a quick look. I didn’t even see her properly and have no clue what omega it was. First floor… nothing. Second floor… nothing. Third floor… nothing. What the hell?! Where was she?! I kept pacing the hallways, surely I had missed her somehow. Eughh I’m going to grab a snack and try again. I went to the kitchen and there was the faint smell, I could smell her!!! Maybe I could follow it. It led me down the third hallway to a door. 2 flights of stairs down… where was this I’d never seen this before ever. It was so dark down here how could someone live down here. That’s when this huge waft of smell came and I knew she was down here. There was one small light by a door… this was her room; I stalked towards it. I stopped outside her room… but then I heard her. She had stopped breathing. All I wanted was to see her. I just wanted to break down her door and see what I had been given. But I couldn’t. She was scared. Why was she scared, why did that horrible knot in my stomach come back. I forced myself to walk away. It killed me, I took one more large inhale of her scent and left. 

8AM 

‘Dad I’ve ordered more lights for the omega hallways and the basement, if they’re doing all this week they should at least have it well lit’

‘Ahh son, I knew you were going to be a caring Alpha to all, I’m so proud of you’

If only dad knew the real reason I was doing it.

Jeez that was the longest work day ever, but everything’s done. It’s all ready for Alpha Jakes party. Wow 11.30pm… I’m barely going to sleep. I didn’t even sleep last night with the footsteps. I feel like I imagined them… I walked down the hallways and opened the basement door. What the hell. There’s lights… why is there lights… it lit up the stair well and there was a new one by my door. Gosh I was so self absorbed thinking it was Stacey. It was obviously just an electrician omega doing his job. What a difference this made, I was in awe by simple lights… how sad is that. 3 new lights had made my month. This was clearly a birthday present I told myself.
