She was awake when he turned on the light. Her face was pale and she looked at him as if she was still in her nightmare, her eyes full of fear and panic. Xavier heard her crying and calling someone. He approached to the bed and took a seat next to her and she didn't hesitate when he pulled her in his hug. He was caressing her hair, comforting her. Tessa felt much better in his arms, listening to his heartbeats. He waited for few more minutes for her to calm down.
"Better now?" He cupped her face and looked at her worried, but she nodded and leaned against him again. Xavier remained silent giving her needed time to recover. When he realized she was asleep he lay her down on the bed and went to sleep next to her.
