Alex was looking for a movie when Jade walked in holding a phone in one hand and popcorn in the other and she looked pale. He stood up and approached her, taking the popcorn from her hand and leading her to the sofa. "Jade, is everything fine?" She looked at him and shook her head slightly. He cupped her face and made her look him in the eyes. "Jade, what is happening?" She looked at her hands and when she lifted her head he saw that she was crying. "Jade?" She closed her eyes for a moment and when she opened them new tears were running down her cheeks. "Jeff is dead."
