“Mrs. Prentiss? Ma’am?” a voice called out to me, snapping me out of my daze.
Turning my head towards the driver’s side window, I watched as our butler knocked on the window and waved his hand at me. It was clear that he was trying to get my attention and was concerned as to why I wasn’t unlocking the door. But, I just couldn’t do it.
My hands gripped the steering wheel tightly as images of what I had just witnessed flashed through my mind. Aaron Evans, my bodyguard, someone I felt safe with and someone was beginning to fall hard for, was a werewolf.
