Mia’s POV The sun had just set over the local park on a hill beside a luscious forest, casting long shadows across the grass. The air was crisp and cool, with a hint of moisture that hinted at an approaching storm accompanied by some gray clouds in the distance. Yet, the park was still in full swing as people went about their own business across the park. To be honest, it was a great change of environment after being cooped up in the mansion constantly like a prisoner. Plus, I loved the way the large, strong trees seemed to stretch up to the sky, and the sound of the leaves rustling in the wind.
