Chapter Six Zurie Walking through the door of Dilly’s Bar and Grill at seven p.m. on the dot, I scanned the room, hoping to see Cayce. “Seating for one, ma’am?” the hostess asked me, drawing my attention. “I’m meeting someone here.” I looked back at the half-filled room and finally found Cayce sitting in the very back. The dimmest corner. His eyes started dancing as he saw me and he immediately got up, coming toward me. “I see him. Thanks.” “Oh, you’re with him?” the hostess asked. “Wow.” “Yeah, wow.” I knew Cayce was an attractive man. And I should’ve known that other women would be attracted to him as well.
